My Experience With Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette

A complete package, containing 12 highly-pigmented, wearable shades in a single palette! You can use this palette for different and endless looks; can be worn softly in the day time but also built up for effect in the night. This is an option for neutral makeup lovers; each of the 12 shades can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a classy n chic looks. There’s an assortment of colors from pink, brown and black. It also includes a dual –ended eye brush which I really like. It’s one of the must have palette filled with eye shadows that are highly pigmented, soft blend-able and easy to use.

Packaging: It comes in a rose gold metal box which looks very elegant, compact, classy, sturdy and travel-friendly with Naked3 Urban Decay embossed on top of the cover. The box is rectangular in shape with a big makeup mirror encased in the inner side which is big plus point. It also comes with a dual ended eye brush which I use a lot. It’s soft, shed-free and has two sides I can use to create a variety of looks.

Texture: It is very creamy in texture. The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. All the shades are wearable and will compliment most of the skin tones.

Pigmentation: The eye shadows are superbly pigmented; it is highly advisable that you use primer before applying them. With the primer, colours stay longer and don’t smudge or crease.

ub4 Strange: It is a pale neutral pink matte-satin. It is very soft, velvety in texture and pigmentation is really good. It can be used under the brow bone but is a little drier, so some fallout while applying.

Dust:  It’s a pale metallic pink shimmer with golden micro glitters. It is very powdery in texture so would recommend to use with damp brush to minimize fall out. Being a shimmer lover, I like this colour although pigmentation is not great.

Burnout: Very pretty light pinkie-peach satin with a pearly finish; one of my favourite colours. Colour payoff is not great but texture is very soft and buttery. It does not fall out while applying. Can be used in the inner corner of the eyes.

Limit: Light dusty rose matte with mauve undertone. Very smooth is in texture and has nice pigmentation.

Buzz: Metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitters; a copper shade with pink undertone and metallic sheen. Love this colour a lot, used it a few times already being one of the beautiful shades and my favourite. It has shimmer in it and fantastic colour pay off and texture is very soft, smooth and buttery. It can be used with both Indian and western attires.

Trick: Light metallic pinkish-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle. It glides smoothly and would suit all Indian skin tones.

Nooner:  Medium pinkish-brown matte. It looks matte but slightly powdery in texture which does not fall out and can be used over the crease. It has plum undertone. Pigmentation is fantastic.

Liar:  Medium metallic mauve shimmer; a brown with mauve undertone. It contains shimmer but texture is very soft and very much pigmented although a little powdery.

Factory: Pinkish-brown satin – a brown shade with greyish undertone. It contains finely milled silver glitters which don’t overpower the eyes. It has a nice pigmentation and easily blend-able but slightly dry in texture.

Mugshot:  Metallic taupe shimmers with slight pink shift. One of my favourite shade and meant for crease only. I have used a lot on the crease – has a metallic finish, superb pigmentation and soft, buttery texture.

Darkside: Deep taupe-mauve satin. This colour has a nice pigmentation and easy to blend. It can also be used on the crease.

Blackheart:  Smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkles. It is a black with reddish brown undertone; love the micro shimmer in it. It is one of the pretty colours with pearly finish.

  5. Very nice, detailed review! I am one of the weird beauty bloggers out there who aren’t into Naked pallettes *LOL*, maybe because i’m more attracted to colorful eye shadows even though i don’t wear eye shadows all that often anyway! I have a Naked 2 gifted from my sis in law though and i quite like it (but not crazy about it)
