My Top 5 Pink Lipsticks from MAC  

It’s pretty hard to choose only 5 PINK shades from MAC out of so many and when Shivi asked me to compile my favorites i.e. top 5 pink Lipsticks I immediately started counting the shades. I am a lipstick lover (read as hoarder); bright shades attract me like a hot cake. My philosophy of life- “When life give you lemons, buy more lipsticks”:P – and girls it really work! A right shade can definitely perk up your bad mood and dull face!

MAC is famous for its vast, unlimited variety of shades available in different formulas. I have been collecting different shades as a MAC addict and I want you all to know about my top 5 Pink lipsticks from MAC Permanent range! Easy for beginners, no hunting down for limited edition lipsticks.

Let’s get started. The shades I picked are mixed of matte and amplified and prolong range.

1) MAC  FLAT OUT FABULOUS

This one is my no.1 favorite lipstick from Retro Matte collection which is permanent now. It is a bright fuchsia plum shade with cool tone and has a flat matte finish to it. It has slight pink undertone to it and gives a nice mix of plumy pink colour to lips.  MAC  Flat out Fabulous has completely opaque colour pay off and the formula is slightly drier.

It gives tugging and pulling effect on lips, therefore do not forget to moisturize your lips properly before applying it.

In addition to this, the shade is very unique and I am in love with it so much that I already brought a backup of it 😉 It lasts on for more than 4-5 hours and fades slightly with munching. This ought to be my all time favourite lipstick shade, suits all skin tone. Absolute must have for me!!

2) MAC GIRL ABOUT TOWN

Another bright Pink Fuchsia from MAC- one of the most famous shades from amplified cream range. I had to wait almost 2 months to get this shade and each time its goes OOS. It has cool undertone and can beautifully suit any skin tone. Also, it has an opaque finish and it is very creamy and smooth on lips.

Furthermore, it glides easily without any tugging but transfers because of the formula. Staying power is more than 4 hours, after that the intensity of the colour starts fading. It has a luminous sheen to it which makes lips look fuller and glossy. MAC Girl about Town leaves a strong tint to lips.

3) MAC MEHR

This one has a special place in my heart, it is my 2^nd Mac lipstick after Ruby woo. A perfect n*de shade for every skin tone. However it may wash out if you are NC42 or higher. It is a dirty blue pink lipstick with cool undertone and has a matte finish. Despite been a matte formula it is not as dry as ruby woo. I don’t get any pulling or tugging while applying. It is much smoother than other matte lipsticks. It is my way to go everyday kind of shade. Perfect for day time or pairing with smokey eye look. Lasts almost 4-5 hours on me and leaves no tint. I definitely recommend this shade for n*de shade lovers.

4) MAC IMPASSIONED

It’s a screaming hot pink coral shade from MAC, another hot seller and permanent shade. Also, MAC describes it as Amped-up fuchsia. This is not for everyone although if you love bold and bright shades then go get it as soon you can. It has a strong blue undertone and has amplified formula to it.

MAC impassioned suits almost every skin tone but only if you are comfortable to wear a vivid coral pink shade. It has a sheen to it which makes lips fuller and healthy. The shade is true to bullet and lasts for more than 5 hours after which it starts fading.

In addition to this, it applies smoothly and keep my lips moisturized. The shade reminds me of summers whereas it is also appropriate for fall.  It also leaves a strong tint on lips and doesn’t settle into lip lines. No smudging or smearing!

5) MAC LOVE FOREVER

This shade caught my eyes when I saw the swatches online. It is a permanent shade but from Pro Long wear lip cream range. MAC describes LOVE FOREVER as a bright blue pink with prolong wear cream finish. The lightweight texture and creamy finish is comfortable to wear.

The formula sets as semi matte finish on lips after few minutes of application. Also, it has an opaque colour pay off and lasts almost for the whole day on my lips without smudging or smearing. I can see the intensity starts fading after 5 hours.

Moreover, it doesn’t transfer at all. The packaging is completely different than regular line. It comes in black long cylindrical packaging with MAC name on it. It can be permanent but always out of stock because of the high demand.

That’s it, my top 5 Pink lipsticks from MAC, I will definitely do top 5 red lipsticks very soon!
