1)Stretch marks: Honestly, I didn’t get a lot, but, I started seeing some stretch marks in lower abdomen. Moisturizing well is the key to keep stretch marks at bay. I shall also write a post about the lotions, moisturisers and oil that I had used during my pregnancy very soon. Oh btw, you can get stretch marks on your breasts too!

2) Backache: Now this one is very common and almost all women experience this stage. As your weight increases it puts pressures on your back. I felt discomfort in my pelvis area and lower abdomen the most during this period.

How to avoid backache during pregnancy? To avoid backache, do not sit for too long during the days. Sit up straight and do use back support. Do not sleep straight on your back (facing upwards towards the roof), at night, as it pressurises your back even more.

Sleep on your side and preferably with a pillow between your legs. Wearing comfortable shoes while walking will also help a lot. My exercise routine did help me a lot too.

3) Full bladder & Frequent urination: Okay this one is so funny but so true in my case. So, I went to a mall with my husband as we had to meet few of our friends.

The whole time I felt that I need to pee. In a 4 hours meetup I peed thrice.

The reason is that increased weight puts pressure on your pelvic area making you feel this way. In addition to this some women lacks the control and even pee when they sneeze.

Dear friends this is very normal and there is no need to be embarrassed.

4) Breasts enlargement and discharge: Women do go up a cup size or two, moreover, during this period breasts produce colostrum. Mine didn’t leak at all but there are some women who starts leaking as early as 2nd trimester.

Also, do read this article about “Colostrum” . It is important to know what all changes are happening in your body, what it actually means, and how important these changes are for you and the baby. Believe me you will feel good once you read about it!

Moreover, even breasts get stretch marks due to increase in size so do not forget to moisturise this area as well. Using organic products during your pregnancy is highly recommended.

Using correct size bra which gives good support is advisable.

5) Fatigue and Clumsiness: Throughout my pregnancy I was very active and it is only in my last two months that I use to feel tired quickly. The reason in my case was frequent urination and as I use to sleep less at night it took a toll on my energy level.

In addition to the above women do experience shortness of breath, varicose veins, swelling in feet, extra weight gain, heartburn and constipation.

Some of the above can be taken care with the help of correct exercises. Always consult your doctor as soon as you feel a bit different. Call your doctor right away if you see any bleeding.

Dear friends I hope this article was helpful. Kindly remember that my articles are more personal experience and you may or may not experience the above the same way. Do share your experiences in the comment box below.
