MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BODY SHOP  BODY LOTION VINEYARD PEACH

Once when I am in the body shop store I almost get an adrenaline rush as the store stocks so many good smelling options that the visitor is always wanting  more! And such was the case with me when about a month ago I found myself surrounded by some amazing fragrances. I was trying to find a body lotion for myself as I got bored from my last one. As I entered the TBS store the humble man asked the purpose of my visit and quickly rushed to a corner where a full shelf was dedicated to body lotions. The lotions were available in various fragrances like sensual floral scents, ripe strawberries scent, sweet cocoa scent and nutty scents. The only lotion that caught my eye was the peach body lotion as I read it somewhere that this is a limited stock edition which is back on demand and also as much as I love peach juice I never tried any product with similar scent so thought of buying it.

The peach body lotion is packed in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pump…hurray. I love how the pump works and give the right amount of silky white lotion which is non-sticky, spreads nicely and gets absorbed into the skin in no time. As the dollop is dropped on your palm a strong smell of ripe peaches would surround you. The consistency is just fine; it’s not very thick but its light yet not runny! It’s great for the Bangalore’s weather as anytime it is hot and humid with no dry winters!

It’s so light that it feels very soft and smooth against the skin. Regular usage of this lotion has made my skin softer. My hands remain soft and feel moisturized for more than 4 hours. If you have sensitive nose need not worry you can still experience it as the strong ripe peach smell stays only for 5 minutes and then subsides. To sniff the peach smell after some minutes, I literally need to bring my hand near my nose…lol…somehow it’s all gone and what remains is a nourished and pampered skin!

1)    My hands & legs have normal skin and this lotion moisturizes it well.

2)    If you are a peach lover then this fragrance is just for you. The smell is like that of ripe peach.

3)    Regular usage made my hands soft and improved the texture of the skin to some bit.

4)    Though the price looks high but the amount of the lotion we get in the bottle is nice and it goes a long way. (Obviously then it depends on the usage as well).

5)    Hygienic pump dispenser and the classy cute looking bottle cannot be ignored!!!

6)    Against animal testing.

TURN OFF: THE BODY SHOP  Vineyard Peach Body Lotion

1) The fragrance didn’t stay for too long, not even for half an hour! As much as this point will be loved by any person with sensitive nose, I actually was looking for a lotion which fares well on the fragrance longevity part.

2) it’s a limited edition, I somehow want all products to be present all year round so that I don’t have to plan “buys” far ahead.

3) The lotion is a light moisturizer so for extreme dry winters you might want to choose the body butter. Also for very dry skin this won’t be too hydrating. (I chose the body lotion and not the body butter because I have normal skin for which this seemed a good option)

COSMOCHICS RATING:  5/5 ( Its okay if the smell didn’t last i can always sniff it directly from the bottle…lol, kidding!!!)

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I absolutely love this Vineyard Peach Body Lotion. Rendering the nourishment and moisturisation it also improved the texture of my skin (on regular use) and now I have smooth soft feeling hands and legs!!!
