I always look up to the body shop face washes and scrubs and this time I put to the test “The body shop lemon sugar body scrub”.

This exfoliating body scrub contains real lemon seed oil and peel. It lifts away dead skin cells and has a zesty citrus scent.
• Removes dead skin cells
• Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth

Use in the bath or shower. Apply to damp skin in a circular motion, then rinse thoroughly. Use two to three times a week for best results.

My experience with The body shop Sweet  Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

Okay so I just can’t hide my excitement. My new “The body shop sweet lemon sugar body scrub” tub is yellow in color! Now what’s the reason for excitement? You must be wondering! Hello! Don’t you adore a nice sunshine thingy on your bathroom shelves? Lol….

So here I am with a body scrub with a nearly  perfect grainy consistency which is easy to scoop out but is a little dry in texture. But, it feels very moisturizing on the skin. The tub is large enough and the quantity provided is huge and I am sure this will go a long way.

I scrub my body (hands & legs) with it. The scrub particles are not very strong and do the scrubbing part well. There are a number of exfoliating particles which can be felt on the skin. The pressure put by your hands would determine how strong or light it turns out. Like, I apply a little more pressure on my legs so that it exfoliates nicely, as my legs are little rough than the rest of the body. But, on my hands I am a little gentler. It removes the dead skin easily and leaves the skin super soft! The softness is achieved because of the lemon oil used in it as an ingredient. The lemon oil helps in keeping the skin moisturized! And therefore this scrub becomes my favourite winter time scrub! The presence of the oil helps in not turning your skin dry and so even if I forget my body lotion, I am good to go! Though I would suggest not forgetting your body lotion as it’s an important step to keep your skin nourished.

With the zesty fragrance the regular usage of this has only made my skin smoother.

3)    It exfoliates well keeping the skin moisturized.

4)    It’s not harsh on skin.

5)    Great for both, during the winters as well as summers (for me)!

7)    The presence of lemon oil nourishes the skin beautifully.

8)    The body shop is cruelty free! Yay!

1)    Tub packaging! Do I need to say more? I just hate putting my fingers back into it again and again so I scoop it out in advance and keep it in a bowl and if by chance I need more I just look at the tub and get irritated!

2)    It’s a little expensive too.

3)    I think it won’t be adored by people who love squeaky clean feel on skin especially during summers! As this one leaves the oil behind for moisturisation. ( it’s a personal like/dislike)
