Hey Everyone,

I am extremely sorry for my “DISAPPEARED” status in the past few days. I was travelling and did not wish to stay disconnected but everything got haywire and things did not work according to the plan…..but now all sorted and I promise to behave myself in future 🙂

I Love Body Butters From The Body Shop and the reason is simple, I have very dry skin when it comes to hands and legs, which obviously gets nightmarish in winters with all the itch and irritation. I have tried a lot of moisturizers in the past but they just don’t seem to work for me. The Body Shop body butters are amazing and I always always have them with me. For people like me, who loose interest in the same product easily and love to try different products, The Body Shop has a lot of variants in their Body Butters and all of them work wonderfully on dry skin so I keep changing the flavors 🙂

The Body Shop always comes up with their limited edition in the Christmas month and this time they came up with three new flavors, Frosted Cranberry, Glazed Apple and Vanilla Brulee. I picked up Frosted Cranberry randomly because it was Christmas & this one was Red ( lame….I know but they are all so good….you can pick up them blindly without regrets 🙂 ) In fact they are running heavy discounts on their limited edition…..so don’t wait and grab one for yourself.

My Experience With The Body Shop Body Butter Frosted Cranberry: The Body Shop body butter in  Frosted Cranberry comes in the typical body shop body butter packaging i.e a simple round flat tub. The frosted cranberry body butter is a light pink, thick and rich cream.
The fragrance is fruity when you sniff from the tub but tart when you apply it. It has a strong overpowering scent that is sweet(less) and bitter(more). Sometimes I feel it smells like alcohol 🙂 can’t describe but I am not a fan. It does not smell great to me and to top it, it stays for a long time.Well, to each his own, some people love it….so can’t comment!!!!!!
After having said too much about the fragrance, performance wise this one is a star. All body butters from The Body Shop perform exceptionally well and you can pick up any one out of the various options available but if you have exceptionally dry skin like me then I will highly recommend the frosted cranberry especially for winter season, just ignore the scent. Use it right after the shower and say bye bye to dry skin. It spreads evenly, absorbs easily, it’s non greasy and leaves the skin baby soft. The skin stays hydrated and moisturized all day long and I am talking about very dry skin here 🙂 . Very little quantity is required so one tub will last for quite some time.

-For all skin types

Turn Off : The Body Shop Body Butter Frosted Cranberry
-Fragrance at least for me … Some may like it though

Cosmochics Rating: 4/5 ( fragrance 🙁 )

INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER: After using The Body Shop Body Butter Frosted Cranberry for a long time the fragrance has grown on me and I don’t mind it much because it’s like a savior for my extra dry skin in winters. Just be careful with the quantity, it does the job in half the amount you would require with some other body butter so if you go overboard, it might feel greasy.

WE LOVE TO HEAR FROM OUR READERS

I will go back to the vitamin E body butter in summers. Which body butter do you love from The Body Shop????

    1. I agree….the hand creams are not that moisturising…I have one in vanilla and I share the same thoughts as you

    1. No Lee they are the same….cranberry came in last year and this year they restocked it as frosted cranberry. They smell more or less the same….I am not a fan because there are a few other options that smell heavenly but like I said some might like it. 🙂
