My Experience With Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick : Holly Golightly

These matte lip crayons do not have a twist up packaging, they have to be sharpened instead and the sharpener comes along with the lipstick. One end of the crayon is colour coded which makes it easy to locate the shade from your stash. These lipsticks have an excellent formula. They are creamy and glide on easily while applying, after some time they settle down to a powder matte finish which does not feel heavy, drying or uncomfortable. They apply evenly on the lips without any tug or pull because of the creamy texture and do not settle into fine lines to accentuate them, but like with any other matte lipstick, do not forget to exfoliate and moisturise your lips to get a better finish. These lipsticks have absolutely no smell.

The shade Holly Golightly is the only neutral shade in the range and its a gorgeous peach pink shade which will definitely suit all skin tones. It is a very comfortable shade that can be pulled off anytime, with any look, be it with dramatic eyes or all natural makeup. Pigmentation is impressive and two swipes will give an opaque finish. The staying power is 4-5 hours on me, they fade evenly, also they transfer slightly.

“Info on a Silver Platter”

Sugar cosmetics offer great quality at an affordable price tag so if you are a matte lip lover, I definitely recommend trying these lipsticks for their amazing formula. The only con could be that the shades are very limited so if you are hunting for corals, light pinks or browns, then you might have to search for something else.

P.S : On my list is Scarlet O’ Hara, I’ve heard that its a very close dupe of Mac Ruby Woo!!!!
