Swinging In The Spring Of Beijing….!!! Sun, Shades & Shorts…!!!

Yes finally its that time of the year that I have been looking forward to, ever since the time I’ve landed in Beijing. We finally bid adieu to the cold winds, the winter chill, the long coats, boots and all the layers of warm clothes. The bright sun dispelled all the winter haze and the flowers are back to blooming in full swing. So as the scenery changes from barren trees to lush greenery, so does my wardrobe. Yes the shorts are out, the summers dress are all set and yes my open toe footwears are waiting desperately to be out in the Spring.

This week has been super active and fun as my uncle is in town to visit us. He is first member from our family to visit us, so yeah we have been living it up and painting the town red with him. From touristy destination to crazy parties, we’ve been indulging in all the guilty pleasures. This Sunday we planned to visit the Mutianyu section of The Great Wall that I wrote about in my previous blog (Link Here Of The Chinese Adventure- Visiting The Great Wall Of China).

It was a pleasant and bright Sunday, so I decided to pull out my favorite denim shorts from my wardrobe, paired them with a plain black top and a pink shrug, since I knew I would be at an altitude I was expecting it to be a little windy, hence I chose to sport the shrug too. 🙂

Hiking the great wall is great fun, but its fun only when you’re dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes. Hence I decided to sport my sneakers as it was going to a long and tiring hike.

Short, shades and sunblock that’s what it takes to enjoy the Spring in Beijing. Here’s me enjoying the spring of Beijing, hope you ladies will enjoy the pics.

So yeah something as simple as shorts can be really stylish, if you just pair it correct. Most important is the eye wear and sunblock while enjoying the sun, taking care of the skin and eyes should always be a priority. This is what I call a perfect blend of comfort with fashion, and yeah do not forget your most precious and important accessory, which is your Smile, it enhances your look.

Denim Shorts:- Very old pair of Shorts purchased from Levis, don’t remember the price (sorry they’re really ancient lol, I’m just glad that they still fit me)

Black Top- Purchased off the rack from Beijing Zoo Market for 50 Yuan (approximately Rs 500)

Shrug- Purchased from Globus (India) for Rs 799/-

Shoes- Puma Sneakers purchased from India for Rs 4999/- (during Sale 😉

Shades- Prada (gifted by hubby) 🙂
