Splurge’s Honey-Oats Soap Review: Handcrafted Natural Luxuries

Long time back, I switched to body washes  but when a packet from splurge arrived at my doorstep I found out this cute little bar enclosed in it. It read “Natural Handmade Soap Honey- Oats”.

Ingredient List: Olive oil, Coconut oil, Palm oil, Shea Butter, Coco butter, Sodium hydroxide, aqua & Pure Organic essential oils.

My Experience with Splurge Honey-Oats Soap:

The ingredient list was impressive enough to make someone happy and I could not wait to try this soap.

Oatmeal is a magical ingredient that has several skin benefits. It is a natural exfoliant, It helps in soothing irritated skin, it softens the skin, contains healthy fats that moisturize the skin. It contains polysaccharides which becomes gelatinous when in contact with water and leave behind a thin film over skin that combats dryness. Oats make a very good natural cleanser that effectively removes dirt. Honey is again an excellent moisturizing agent and has anti-microbial properties.

With all the butters, oils and oats, I was sure that I was in for a treat. The best part is that it’s all handmade and natural…no artificial agents, no harsh chemicals nothing…..just pure luxury.

The bar comes in a transparent plastic wrap. Is a dirty cream colored soap with visible oatmeal particles. The bar smells dominantly of jasmine with a few lavender notes which is quite relaxing and rejuvenating. The fragrance lingers for about an hour.

This soap lathers well and comes off easily. The oatmeal particles can be felt against the skin providing mild scrubbing to it.

After the second use itself I could see a remarkable difference. It gently exfoliates to get rid of dead skin, does not irritate the skin or make it dry in fact it moisturizes the skin effectively. I have dry skin but I can easily skip my moisturizer. The soap is mild yet effective in getting rid of dirt and grime. Regular usage revealed fresh, bright, healthy and glowing skin. I generally don’t use soaps on my face but I was highly impressed with the results that I am actually using this bar on my face and I am loving it. I am treating myself with this handmade pure luxury and my skin is responding in a happy way!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Melts quickly but can’t crib about it because it’s made out of pure natural ingredients.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER“- I am completely bowled over with this handmade soap. It contains all edible ingredients which are highly beneficial for the skin. I strongly recommend this soap to people who have sensitive skin or have dry skin. I have fallen for this handmade bar and it has left me craving for more.
