My Experience With Sephora Rouge Balm B05 Gentle coral SPF 20
As of now these balm lipsticks are on discount but I bought these when they were priced at Rs.1090.
There are some times when you want a product to work only because you can satisfy your purchase. 😛 If you can relate please know this was the time.
Sephora Rouge Balm B05 Gentle coral SPF 20 comes in a lightweight, plastic twist up packaging, nothing new. One swatch on hand and I can feel that it is very creamy. The balm lipstick has a unique scent too and has a shine.
The lipstick is sheer as it is a balm texture and it is not an opaque lipstick. It gives a nice coral colour which I like. In addition to this the balm lipstick did moisturise my lips to great extent!
Since it has a gel formula it glides on smoothly without tucking the lips. It glides like butter to be precise. The balm lipstick has creamy smooth texture.
Colour is buildable and opaque enough. Also it has sheen finish. One swipe across lips and you get the perfect colour you wish to get from balm lipsticks. It stays on my lips for 3 hours, if I don’t eat anything. The above image is taken in natural light.
Also, it does not cling to dry part of the lips, therefore, it won’t accentuate if your lips are bit flaky. Well that’s the whole point of using such lipsticks, providing moisturisation and colour to lips. In addition to this , it has SPF which is an added advantage.
However, finally I can say that I like this lipstick but not to the extent that I will buy another shade from this range. This is just like a lip balm to me with moisturising properties and SPF.
There are several lip balms in the market that offer same features and obviously at cheaper rates.
“Info On a Silver Platter”: I like the texture and colour payoff however somehow not crazy about this range.
