My Experience With The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers
It’s a creamy formula that applies well and sets to a velvet matte finish after an hour or so post application. After a few hours, the lips do feel slightly dry, more so if you have dry lips because this isn’t a moisturizing formula. The Apocylips are highly pigmented & very opaque even the lighter shade over here is capable of covering pigmented lips in one pass. They have a great staying power and stay my lips for straight 4-5 hours on an average, after which they fade slowly without losing much impact. The shade Stellar leaves a nice, even stain on the lips that looks pretty. Celestial does not stain much being on the lighter side but still does not leave the lips bare.
Rimmel Appocalips lip lacquer is not exactly a lightweight formula but comfortable. I really like the creamy, non-sticky finish that they offer. Because they have a thick texture, they go on a bit streaky at first but can be evened out easily.
Shades:
Steller: Bright Red with neon pink. A unique shade if you like to use bright lip colors.
Celestial: My favorite from the collection. It is a dusty pink shade that is quite versatile. It can be paired with smokey eyes and qualifies as an everyday pink shade too.

A great formula, amazing pigmentation, long lasting application and lovely shade selection is more than what I would ask for at this price point….in other words….I love them!!!!
