My Experience With Revlon illuminator ‘Skinlights’ Peach Light

Revlon’s illuminator (shade name- 300 Peach Light) is a light to medium tone, light weight creamy lotion that is peach in shade with very fine shimmer. Highlighters are to show off your best features, always applied as finishing touch and illuminators are applied on face before foundation or mixed with foundation!

And therefore Revlon’s illuminator illuminates the skin by brightening and making the part where it is applied a centre point!

Revlon illuminator “skinlights” is a very subtle sheer product that is buildable if you want more brightened look. But a little is enough to bring a subtle glow to the face.

PhotoReady Skinlights™ Face Illuminator

Revlon’s illuminator “peach light” has a nozzle cap which is considered nice and travel friendly. It smells bad but only if you are trying to smell it otherwise while working it on your skin you can’t really smell any weird fragrance.

As suggested by Revlon itself, I mean in the description 😛 I tried wearing it in two ways. Firstly I applied on top of my blush. It gives a nice glow to cheeks and hence I like it!

Secondly, I apply this by mixing in my foundation and bb cream as well.

I like this way too and the best part it didn’t even turn my skin oily! Instead gave a nice healthy look! Now I am really not left with any choice than to fall for this completely.

The biggest problem of highlighters and illuminators is that they accentuate the skin pores but this one being an illuminator didn’t highlight my pores much but since I took the photograph really closely the pores are visible. Below is the unedited picture to show how exactly it looks on skin.

Turn Off: Revlon illuminator ‘Skinlights’ Peach Light

1) Oh yes it’s expensive! 🙁

2) It accentuates my pores but to be honest only when photographed closely. In person the effect of illuminator isn’t bad 🙂

COSMOCHICS RATING: 4.70/5 (I need to deduct for the high price)
