Many of you don’t know but I am a huge fan of face masques. I always hunt for good face masques that can take care of my dry dehydrated –combination skin.

I handed over a list of products to a friend of mine who went all the way to Delhi and returned back with lots of goodies including my FOREST ESSENTIAL MADHULIKA LEP  🙂 .

My Experience With  Forest Essential’s Madhulika Nourishing Honey Lep

Forest Essential is a luxury Ayurvedic brand available in Indian Market. They do ship worldwide, though the worldwide shipping charges kill all the enthusiasm.

Anyways I picked Madhulika Lep for myself after checking many reviews online. I read that this is the best for my skin type. FOREST ESSENTIAL MADHULIKA LEP has medium to thick consistency and has bits of orange peels and other ingredients mentioned above. It’s not a smooth masque and has a tendency to fall off during application. I generally apply this lep right after washing my face and think that its lot easier to apply on a damn face rather than on a dry face. It is very difficult to apply on dry face due to its thicker texture and crumbly bits of orange peel. I gently start applying on my face slowly taking a pea size amount to avoid the mess and fall offs. I keep this masque for 30 to 40 minutes and sometimes even more and wash it off with lukewarm water.

This is my first ever masque from a Luxury high end Ayurvedic brand and I swear this is heaven for those who need nourishment and hydration instantly. No doubt why this is almost everyone’s favorite. After rinsing properly all I notice is a glow that it gives to my skin and makes it look healthy and supple, just like a baby’s face!  This brightens up my dull and tired face instantly giving a healthy glow. It removes dead cells and tan a bit and nourishes the skin making it fresh and supple.

The masque doesn’t dry out and therefore I like to keep it on my face for some extra minutes. Madhulika Lep is not only my summers favorite but also acts as a food for my parched skin during winters. It’s my HG masque!

It has a subtle citrusy fragrance mixed with organic honey. It does have some other ingredients like organic almond oil, potent herbs and cold pressed organic oils.

Enriched with organic raw honey this masque deeply cleanses, tones and gives an instant glow to the skin. The combination of natural herbs along with raw cane sugar eliminates dead and dry skin cells leaving a smooth porcelain finish!

The only downside for me is the tub packaging. It is very unhygienic and irritating to put your fingers to bring out the lep. The overall packaging looks very elegant and classy though. It has a transparent plastic thin lid covering the masque.

 1)   Don’t like the tub packaging. So messy 🙁

2)   You need to finish up the pack within 6 months from the date you open the pack and I find it a bit difficult to use the complete quantity in the given period of time.

COSMOCHICS RATING: 5/5 (I wanted to deduct 1 mark for packaging but I can overlook it because of the high quality of the product)

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I am very particular about my skincare products; I don’t use random products on my face for the sake of reviewing. I pick my products after a lot of research and keep on using them till I see benefits. This is a 2 in 1 masque which can be applied as a masque – keep it for 30 minutes – gently message your face with lukewarm water. The orange peel present in the masque is for giving scrubbing effect on face and hence removes dead cells too which is the second method! This very pack would remove your tan and make your face brighter than before. I highly recommend it!!
