The Ready Set Glow November Fab Bag

Hey Everyone,

We are almost half way through this month and I am unzipping my Fab Bag today, what a shame… but I got my Fab Bag yesterday. The November Ready Set Glow – Fab Bags were shipped out early this month and mine was apparently delivered on the 2nd day itself but it was misplaced. If you wanna know the story then you can find it towards the end of this post, otherwise just cut it and let’s get on to the review.

So, I usually love talking about the pouch first because I ~~almost~~ ~~always~~ find them cute and interesting but this time I am not too impressed. It’s a shiny, textured, bright red bag but anyways, If they are good I cherish them, if not, I feel grumpy for a while and then move on because they are always useful to organize random stuff.

Moving on to the contents, here’s what I got

City Color Be Matte Lipstick – Phoebe (Full Size: Rs.500/-)

Color choice was given this time and I went for Pheobe which is a muted plummy pink colour, great for everyday wear. Its a very subtle shade and should work across skin tones. I am quite liking the shade.

VedaEarth Under Eye Oil (Rs.275/- for 7ml)

What more could I ask for when my skin is dry and dehydrated, especially the under eye area. I have just used it twice and as first impressions, all I can say is that it has a strong ayurvedic fragrance, it’s not too heavy and gets absorbed into the skin. I like the roll on style, because it’s easy to use. I will use it for some time and share my thoughts after that.

Just Herbs Aloe Vera Facial Massage Gel (Rs.445/- for 100gm)

If you like to pamper your skin with at-home facial massages, then this gel is a good option because it’s paraben and mineral oil free, consists of a blend of natural ingredients and essential oils and is not heavy or sticky. I have used it once and it just takes a minute to sink into the skin, after the rinse, the skin does feel soft. Oh, and it is really affordable too. (50g jar included in the bag)

Natural Bath & Body Wild Wonder Body Mist (Rs.325/- for 200ml)

I got a 50ml sample of this body mist. It’s a mild concoction of some woody and citric notes. Quite refreshing but very mild and doesn’t last long. Definitely, not my kind of fragrance, but those who like light woody fragrances will like it I guess.

So this month I feel that apart from the bag everything was good. I love the shade of the lipstick, so yay!!! because that is one thing I am always concerned about. The oil and the massage cream seem nice, and the body mist is not bad either. Although the total worth of products comes up to Rs.1000/- approx, all the products in here are useful.

Oh, the story….. So, I was not home when the Fab Bag arrived and my neighbour was sweet enough to collect the package for me and then she totally forgot about it…….. My subscription was renewed this month, so because of that I did not get the tracking number or a delivery message, obviously, I had no clue that the Bag was sent, after waiting for a few days I emailed to the FabBag crew, only to know the Bag has been collected already. Then began the rigmarole of enquiring the security people (they have changing shifts so imagine how many no’s and I don’t know’s I collected) and neighbours….. and then one of them said….ah I have your package, collected it on your behalf (like seriously????? 12 days ago and you tell me when I knock at your door) but All’s well that ends well, I know she keeps busy, I got it finally….. #EasyLife #KeepCalm !!!!!!!!!
