I am not very much a cook and believe in food which is not difficult to cook is tasty and tastes different from my regular breakfast, lunch, dinner and is healthy as well!

I love eating pastas. The different shapes in which these are available in the market fascinates me. Pastas can be eaten as a full meal course and as salads as well! These can be cooked in a number of ways but the way in which I cook is quick, simple and delicious!

SERVES: 1 TO 2 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS:

1 BOWL spiral pasta(i am using from del monte)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp garlic( can vary if you want more)

1 small chopped onion

red yellow bell pepper sliced( 1 each)( I HAVE USED RED AND GREEN)

fresh cream ( i have used 2 cups of it as i like it a lot, put 1 to 1 1/2 cups so that the pasta has a sauce and is not dry)

salt and pepper powder to taste

1/4  cup grated parmesan cheese to garnish

fresh parsley ( I have used coriander as parsley wasn’t available at the time of cooking, one can use basil as well!)

STEPS ON HOW TO PREPARE:

1) Boil the 1 bowl of spirali (spiral) pasta in drinking water with  2 tsp salt in it for 15 minutes. Keep it aside after boiling. Cook it till the pasta is soft enough otherwise it will be uncooked.

( These are not chowmein noodles that you need to half cook it and then cook the rest while preparing. pasta preparation is very fast so I suggest cook the spiral pasta nicely as while preparing with the sauce it will be in the pan only for two minutes!)

2) Heat olive oil in a pan and first sauté garlic, then onions  and bell peppers. Don’t overcook the onions. Keep it translucent.

To make it translucent once when you put onions in the hot pan, sauté it for a minute or two and sprinkle some water over it. This way the onions WILL NOT  turn brown.

3) Add Fresh cream, simmer till the bell peppers are soft and add salt and pepper.

(You Can also blend  the bell peppers and the cream  after sautéing it in pan and then add it to the  pasta.  Here  I didn’t blend it , I just added fresh cream and bell peppers in the pan  and over it I will add the boiled pasta)

4) Toss the boiled pasta in the prepared sauce. Mix for a minute or two on the already heated pan on medium heat.
