My Experience With The Plum Natur Studio all-day-wear Kohl Kajal 

As already mentioned, It’s a gel based liner, it comes in a pencil format and needs sharpening, now sharpening is something that I feel lazy about but looking at the bright side, you get a fresh pointed tip every time you sharpen the kajal. In this case, the brand says that the Full-size 1.2g pencil consists 4 times the kajal found in twister kajals (which contain 0.31g usually) so it lasts at least twice as long but I felt that this being on the creamy side, a lot gets wasted while sharpening so it boils down to the same thing.

The best part about this brand is that it’s all natural, free from any nasty ingredients which is great for everyone, especially those with sensitive eyes. The texture is creamy but not too soft that it could crumple on applying slight pressure and the finish is smudge proof and waterproof. If you wish to create a smokey effect then you’ve got only a few seconds to do so because once set, it refuses to budge at all. Since it’s a long wear kajal, remove it with a good makeup remover.

The finish is matte black in one stroke and gets darker when built up. Plum claims that it works like a gel liner and I feel that it’s true because it lasts really long. It fares for the entire day on the lids and lower lash line without fading or transfers and 3-4 hours on the water line which is a bonus for me because nothing stays on my waterline for a long time, after this time it starts to fade, but evenly.

I did not face any irritation or watery eyes and I wear lenses, so yay to that. Also, you can try the Plum Angel Eyes kohl if you want a creamier and an intense black version of this kajal for easy smokey eyes, it also comes with a smudger on the other end.

The Plum all-day-wear kohl kajal stays true to its name and stays put through the entire day.  It is Preservative-free, paraben-free, mineral oil-free and paraffin-free so I recommend this to everyone who likes wearing kohl/kajal on an everyday basis/has sensitive eyes/ looking out for a natural kohl (and doesn’t mind sharpening of course). There are many other eye pencils/kajals/kohls that last longer but this is the best kajal in the natural, chemical free category.
