I am not really a Patanjali fan but after trying out a few products I feel that they can be a hit or a miss. They do not concentrate on fancy packaging hence are quite affordable so there is no harm in trying and deciding what works best for you.
While most of the beauty products are average, there are a few top rated Patanjali products that work excellently. My last post on shampoos was a mixed bag of feelings but this time I am all praises because the next three products that I tried, turned out to be surprisingly good, I think it’s time for another Patanjali haul!!!!
Orange and Honey Face Wash: Rs.45/- for 60g
I really like this soap free gel face wash, it’s gentle on skin and cleans effectively. With ingredients like Neem tulsi honey and haldi, it makes the skin feel fresh, clean and radiant after the usage. It’s a great face wash for oily/combination or acne prone skin but I will not recommend it for dry skin types because it makes the skin a bit dry.
Patanjali Protein Hair Conditioner: Rs.60/- for 100gm
This is that one product I tried first and it eventually made me haul a whole lot products because I loved it so much. It works perfectly for dry hair, use it as a deep conditioner to tame rough ends. I take a good amount of this conditioner and spread it all over my hair (from mid length till ends) and then I keep it for 5-7 minutes as opposed to the recommended 1-2 minutes and Oh Boy! the result is better than most of the conditioners I have used. It softens and smoothens hair like nobody’s business. I always trust this conditioner whenever my hair feels dry and lifeless irrespective of whatever shampoo I use.
Patanjali Apricot Walnut Face Scrub: Rs.70/- for 70g
I have not included this scrub in my regime because I mostly use The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion but I keep switching scrubs for review purposes. I used this scrub a couple of times and it’s wonderful is all I can say. It is a cream based scrub with a perfect mixture of fine (wheatgerm) and coarse (apricot) granules that provide effective scrubbing without being abrasive or drying. It’s a great affordable face scrub to exfoliate your skin. Its helps getting rid of dead skin and blackheads/whiteheads in a gentle and natural way.
