Oriflame Illuskin Foundation The ONE With SPF 20: Review

This is the first time I am trying any product from Oriflame. We were sent few of their products from the new range “The ONE”. Today I am discussing my views on their Illuskin Foundation.

My Experience With Oriflame Sweden Illuskin  Foundation The ONE spf 20

Housed in a glass bottle with a pump I got the shade Natural beige. It matches my skin tone nicely and I was able to blend it well. It slightly gave a luminous look and I was afraid that maybe it will turn oily in an hour. But luckily it stayed on well and only after 2 ½ hours my oily skin felt a bit oily on the cheek areas where the pores are but I dabbed a little powder on it and it again became gorgeous looking.

I am amazed to see that it gave nice healthy glow to face. It is a perfect all year round choice for normal skinned, and good for combination-oily skin during winters. It might be a bit oily for me in summers but I like the effect it showed on my skin in this season (winter).

Since it has spf 20 it photographed well too without giving any ghostly pictures in daytime. SPF higher than 20 usually gives ghostly pictures. But again it depends a lot on the lights in which a photograph is taken.

I wore the foundation without a primer so I am sure with a primer it will set even better and would stay even longer. Without a primer I was able to see the foundation work on me for good 4 hours! That’s actually impressive for a person who has oily skin where most of the foundations turn my smooth face into an oil pan quite quickly 😛

1) It gave a healthy luminous glow.

2) Even good for my oily skin for winters.

3) The shade “Natural Beige” matched my skin tone nicely. I am NC 40-42.

4) Stays long and nice.

5) Do you have Normal skin? If yes, then grab it soon! It’s perfect for normal skin.

6) Blends nicely and easily, though I use a brush so no issues.

7) The texture is buildable. But looks best & natural in first layer.

8) Didn’t cause any breakouts.

Turn Off: Oriflame Sweden  Illuskin Foundation The ONE SPF 20

1) It may not be the best choice for oily skin during summers.

2) You may need a concealer to cover up your imperfections like dark spots.

“INFO ON A SILVER PALTTER”- I have come across very few products that bring glow to my oily skin without making it further oily. So right now believe me I am liking this foundation a lot! Though for summers I will probably search for something else.
