Oily face, normal (skin) hands and very dry legs! Now that’s some task when I have to find three different texture lotions for myself! What works on face would work only there, obviously who applies moisturizer on the whole body. But for the rest of the body I need one lotion!

During winters, well we don’t see much of a winter season here in Bangalore but when I say winters I mean period around fall-winters i.e. October-December. So only during this time I experience my normal hands turning little dry and legs even drier. My body shop body creams work really well for the rest of my body but I get bored too! Yes I said it!

And hence I need to test the rest other options available in the market. And what would work best than an all natural body lotion received in a mail!

My Experience With Organic Harvest Body Lotion With Tamarind seeds Extracts

The lotion is quite thin not runny though and is housed in Organic Harvest’s signature white bottle pump packaging. I find it classy. The cap is tight enough and it doesn’t come out even when I carry it around in my handbag. Another plus point!

The smell of the body lotion is quite similar though I am not really able to figure out what’s it like. I can’t precisely aim to describe the smell. It definitely doesn’t smell like Tamarind…lol…thank God. Maybe it’s like its flower but since I never got a chance to smell a Tamarind flower, I can’t really say it is like that or not. But overall its sober and good for sensitive nose as well. 🙂

(P.S. – Tamarind seed extracts is enriched with Xyloglycans widely used in a number of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products topically used for treating minor skin rashes.)

The hydration that this lotion provides is amazing. Though it is not creamy but still it manages to keep my hands moisturized for good 4 hours and after that too I feel as if the lotion is still there. I try to draw a line with my nails on my hands to see if the lotion is working (Kind of a test I do to test every body lotion, if the lotion doesn’t work a dry line is visible on hands) and bang on my skin is soft even after 6-7 hours…no lines at all!

Regular usage of this body lotion also hydrated my skin well and has made my skin soft and healthy.

2) Hydration stays for long on skin.

3) Regular usage made my skin supple & healthy looking.

4) Good for normal to dry skin.

1) It is expensive.

2) It’s not hydrating enough  for very dry areas.

3) On very dry areas more quantity is needed than the usual.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- It actually leaves your skin feeling resilient and moisture-refreshed just as promised. I like it. It is perfect for my normal to slightly dry skin but not very dry.
