My Experience With Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Complete Uv Moisture SPF 50+++ With Heliopex

When god gives he gives in abundance. And just when I got my most beloved Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF50 (review here ) in the mail I also received another variant of a moisturizer with high SPF ( Sun Protection Factor). And not just any SPF its SPF 50 with Helioplex a technology patented by Neutrogena. {Usually my favorite was the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture Combination (Skin review here) but that dosent have any spf in it.}

Now the question, why Neutrogena’s sunscreens the best to use?

The answer lies here- Avobenzone approved by FBD in the year 1988 is the best ingredient used in the sunscreens but when this is exposed to sun it becomes unstable. And therefore Neutrogena came up with a solution where Oxybenzone (an organic compound used in sunscreens that help protect from direct sunlight damage) and DEHN( for achieving product that is not subject to change on exposure to light) were used to stabilize Avobenzone  and make it work more effectively!

In a sunny yellow color the outer pack carries all the details. Inside is the new moisture SPF 50 in a sleek tube where the nozzle is covered by a twist tight cap. Bingo the packaging is travel friendly!

I apply it 20 minutes before going out in the sun and even if I am staying in I use it in the place of a regular moisturizer.

The sunscreen is white in color and of the perfect consistency that is not very runny and has great spreadability. It moisturizes my combination–oily skin and settles on it as a matte finish! My skin sucks the lotion imparting a natural glow that I can’t resist noticing.

The fragrance is like of some flower which isn’t empowering and disappears in few minutes. Left is the ultra soft skin that is nourished by the ultra sheer moisture! It keeps my skin matte for atleast 4 hours when I am out and for a lot longer time when I am at home. This is such a great deal! A moisturizer with SPF is the best combo you can gift your skin to protect it from evil, harmful and skin damaging rays.

1) As it is oil-free and non-greasy, it keeps my skin dry for the longest period of time.

2) It didn’t cause me any breakouts as it didn’t clog my pores.

3) It is PABA-free (PABA is a chemical that is used in sunblocks and it’s mainly used to filter out ultraviolet light.)

4) Perfect solution for both normal-combination & combination- oily skin type. Though dry skinned may need something which is more moisturizing.

5) It fared well on my skin and no allergy what so ever was experienced, maybe it’s because it is “Dermatologist tested” 🙂

6) No white cast 🙂

1) Maybe very oily skin won’t be able to hold it for too long during extreme humid/hot weather.

I didn’t face any issues. Usually Neutrogena products work well on my skin. But if in the past you have experienced any irritation with this particular brand or any sunblock then a patch test is recommended.

 “INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- While UVB rays penetrate the outer layer of skin, it’s the UVA that’s more dangerous and can penetrate deep into the skin. Therefore a high protection is must all the time throughout your life to prevent your skin from sun damage, aging, lines and wrinkles etc. Neutrogena has come up with a great formulation that protects your skin at minimal cost.  I have found the love of my life!
