While exploring thoroughly for a good face wash, I came across Neutrogena deep clean facial cleanser. Since I had heard that Neutrogena is a good brand for skincare I grabbed it immediately and as always there were words which I wasn’t able to ignore – “deep clean” and there again I was ensnared by the beauty AND the written claims!

what the Neutrogena deep clean cleanser Claims:
Deep Clean Facial Cleanser works two ways to improve the look and feel of skin. First, this dermatologist-tested formula cleanses deep down into pores–dissolving dirt, oil and makeup. Then, it removes dead surface skin that
can dry, roughen and dull your complexion. It rinses clean, without leaving any pore-clogging residue. Skin looks fresher and healthier, feels smoother and softer. Oil-free Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores).
My experience with the deep clean cleanser:
It’s an orange tinted gel in a transparent bottle. It Foams lightly and after washing the skin it definitely feels clean. Still I feel that the product brags too much about itself! I have my own reasons for saying so. Firstly, my skin feels dry after using this. Secondly, the product claims to improve the look and feel of my skin, which sadly didn’t happen, even after a month of using this face wash religiously and regularly. And needless to say it did nothing to my complexion; in fact it made my face look dull due to extra dryness.
The only plus point which I was able to count is that it Removes makeup effectively.
For me it did not solve any other purpose. Except the cleaning property of the face wash. It might work well, for oily skinned folks.
It has a mild fragrance.
TURN ON : NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN FACIAL CLEANSER :
1) Removes makeup and oil completely.
2) It didn’t break me out.
3) Mild fragrance, it’s good as I don’t like to smell too much fragrance. It irritates me and puts me off!
4) We get a good amount of product which goes a long way.
TURN OFF : NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN FACIAL CLEANSER:
1) Dried out my normal skin, so I guess that people with dry skin should definitely stay away from it.
2) Normal skinned? Well it didn’t do any good to my skin so even if you want to use it go ahead at your own risk with a smaller version of the bottle available in the market. Neutrogena products are risky…if they work, they do wonders, but if not, you might regret the buy.
“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- THIS PARTICULAR CLEANSER IS NOT MEANT FOR DRY OR NORMAL SKIN. I GUESS OILY SKINNED WOMEN/GIRLS CAN STILL GIVE IT A TRY AS IT REMOVES THE OIL EFFECTIVELY AND DOSENT CAUSES ANY BREAK OUT.
