My All Time Favourites, Best 15 Romantic Movies For Valentine’s Day (Hollywood)

For this Valentine’s Day I, have clubbed my most watched romantic movies into one post ( in no particular order). Now no need to surf internet for hours to find a perfect movie of your choice as “Cosmochics” presents its list of movies according to your mood.

Here is list of Best Romantic Comedy must watch movies! Have fun this season with your valentine!

1) When Harry Met Sally (1989)– A Romantic comedy starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. A real story with funny parts and a very cute ending! When harry met sally is a must watch and always on my most favourite romantic movie list!

2) Father of the bride (1991)– This watch would be more of a comedy genre but the whole setting of wedding is so romantic that I ended up putting it in my romantic must see list! And let me point it out that “Steve Martin” is at his best! A father’s feeling of how he reacts on seeing his daughter after a long time and how he reacts when he finds that his daughter is about to get married to a man she met just 3 months before is beautifully picturised.

3) PS I LOVE YOU (2007) – I have no words to describe this movie. Beautifully directed. Full of emotions, love, strength and positiveness makes it a must and an amazingly adorable watch!

4) THE NOTEBOOK (2004) – Young rich girl falling in love with the poor guy is not a new story line of Bollywood. It’s done n number of times but none can beat “The Notebook”.  And not just the movie but do read the novel as well of the same name by “Nicholas spark”.

5) Serendipity (2001) – Forget Milenge Milenge starring kareena and shahid watch the real movie “Serendipity”. Hope can just gift you anything in life! Be positive, as true love would find its way!

6) Titanic (1997) – Again a rich girl falling in love with a poor guy. But this time the movie is larger than life. It’s an epic romantic movie with lovely background score. You just cannot miss “Celine Dion’s, ‘my heart goes on’!

7) Edward Scissorhands  (1990) – Oh, such a differently written story plot. A man who was just a work of a scientist, is all alone and confused when there is no one left to take care of him! A man who has scissors for hands can also fall in love!!! A lovely innocent love story to watch.

And if you still not convinced then watch it for “Johnny Depp”.

8)  Monster-in-Law (2005) –  A romantic comedy movie where a girl is able to find the man of her dream but alas her worries did not end as her mother in law turns out to be the monster in law. Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda at their best!

9) The Holiday (2006) – Two women facing some crisis in their lives, yeah the love crisis, swap homes for a fortnight to get a change in life! Little did they know that the real true love of their life is waiting there for them. I just loved Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz in the flick!

10) Bridesmaids (2011) – You must have seen a number of movie on friendship but if you haven’t watched “Bridesmaids” then you surely missing something!. It’s about two best friends turning into worst enemies to each other. Full of funny scenes and a really comic ending!

11) 500 Days Of Summer (2009) – whether you believe in true love or not this watch is will surely entertain you!

12) Silver Linings Playbook (2012) – Anybody can find love! The catch is you should be smart enough to read the signs!!! I won’t say much but would conclude that this is a clean, smart, honest movie. And can I also say that “Bradley Copper” looked hot and “Jennifer Aniston” is such a doll!

13) Dirty Dancing (1987) – really You need intro for this. A cult favourite with amazing songs and killer dance moves this is surely gonna win your heart this valentine’s day! “Time of my life” the final dance number is a song I bet you can see like a 100 times and not get bored!

14) Beauty and the Beast (1991) – A traditional fairytale movie is a perfect watch this Valentine’s Day as “happily ever after” is all it promises!

15) The Proposal (2009) – Is a romantic comedy movie. It’s a light movie starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. A number of funny parts and a happy romantic ending is all it delivers.
