Today I am here to express my thoughts about Mirenesse Supreme 24hr Mascara Black Star.

My Experience With Mirenesse Secret Weapon Supreme 24hr Mascara Black Star

Housed in a black plastic potion like tube Mirenesse Supreme 24hr Mascara Black Star looks no less than a “Super Star”.

Black star is jet black in color and is with a wand that has small bristles. These small bristles reach the inner and outer corners of the eyes nicely and easily. The bristles pick up the correct amount of mascara as well.

It has a formula that stretches eyelashes to give maximum length. Just one coat and I got elongated lashes. I was happy & delighted to have found such an amazing product. I applied first coat and started clicking pictures. 10 minutes later when I tried to apply the second coat I found that the first coat has dried up to an extent that it won’t take the second coat easily. The eyelashes became hard and refused to soak the second coat.

I was bewildered and didn’t know what to do.

Again I washed my eyes and applied the mascara and for the second coat I didn’t wait too long and applied it just after the first coat. This time I didn’t face any issues. So I guess to have a false eyelashes look you need to apply the desired coats quickly (maybe within 30 seconds) before it dries completely.

In doesn’t clump when 2 coats are applied but I experienced that it made my upper lashes and lower lashes (in the outer corner) stick to each other.

The staying power of this mascara amazed me the most! It stayed on my lashes for almost the whole day!  The first time I applied it and attended an event. I was out for almost 7 hours and when I returned home the mascara was intact.

It is actually water resistant. It is sleep proof too! Though, I won’t suggest you sleeping with mascara on but I actually forgot that I have applied it and slept for good 3 hours in the afternoon. When I woke in the evening the mascara was still there! It gets washed off easily with my soap bar (face) too but anyways I use my makeup remover always whether needed or not.

1) I like the effect it gives in one coat. Perfect black and curled lashes.

2) It does elongate the lashes.

3) The staying power is the chief feature (backbone) of this mascara.

4) It is perfect for my sensitive eyes! No redness what so ever even when I slept with the mascara on. It is designed for sensitive eyes & contact lens wearers as well.

5) You don’t need a makeup remover as it gets easily washed off with a normal cleanser.

6) It has natural organic wax formula.

1) It is expensive.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I like things that pamper my sensitive eyes and this is one of them. It is a bit expensive but it delivers what it promises. I love it for it’s long staying power however I was expecting it to give even better dramatic eyelashes.
