My Experience With Maybelline The Nudes Palette

This palette is a good mix match of mattes and shimmer. The pigmentation is not that great and it takes a time to build up the desired concentration of color and shimmer. Some of the shades are a bit chalky and not easy to work with but that’s only when I compare it to some of the high-end ones. For a budget palette, the quality is decent. The packaging is sleek and easy to travel with.

Just a wash of color all over the eyelids or perfect neutral or smokey eyes, you can get any eye makeup look out of this palette. From easy-breezy day make-up to full-on evening smokey gorgeousness, this palette got you covered.

It comes with 12 shades, and if you love neutral makeup, you will love them all. The shades are perfect for Indian skin tones, in fact, they are great for all skin tones and it’s the best drugstore nude eyeshadow palette that is easily available in India.

7 Ways To Use Maybelline The Nudes Palette

• Contour: Shade no 5 and 8 can be easily used as counter shades depending upon your skin tones.
• Bronzer: Shade no 4 and 7 can be beautifully used as bronzers.
• Highlight: Use shade no 1 or 11 for highlighting the high points of your face or shade 9 if you want that golden glow.
• Brows: With this palette in hand you don’t need a separate brow powder to fill the sparse areas  of your brows. Just use shade 6 or 8 depending on the color of your brows and you are done.
• Shimmery lips: shimmery mattes are becoming a trend these days but you definitely don’t need to head out and buy one for yourself, Just smack your favorite matte lipstick and dab the shade  9 to create that perfect shimmery matte lip. If you are not all about the shimmery matte trend, just apply any lipstick and dab shade no 1 in the center of your lips to create a fuller lip effect.
• Soft Liner: Shades 6 and 12 if used with a wet tip can be used to create a diffused eyeliner, great for everyday wear.
• Baking: If you like to bake your makeup then shade 3 can be used. Because it’s matte and chalky, it can be perfectly used for the purpose.
