I bought the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation as soon as the range hit the online stores. I ordered it off of Amazon, where they had an interesting concept of selecting your skin tone from the pictures provided and according to what you choose, they will suggest a shade that fits your complexion. The whole Fit Me concept and a pocket friendly price tag is what attracted me towards the range, I really loved the texture and feel from the first impressions itself, but knew that I will not be able to use it since it was matte and my skin was pretty dry. Now that my skin is behaving itself and is in a normal state, I gave this a try, and following are my thoughts about this product.

My Experience with The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation
Packaging is sleek and sturdy but the pump not being there is a bummer because it results in a lot of wastage and mess.
The texture of this foundation is not very thick and is slightly runny so it spreads easily on the skin. It gives a good finish with fingers, hence not much of blending is required. This foundation does transfer a bit right after application but not once it sets on the skin which is usually within 15-20 minutes.It has no fragrance.
As far as the claims are concerned, it matches tone slightly because it does not leave a grey cast on the under eye dark circles so it is good for those who have an uneven skin tone especially on the forehead neck and around the mouth. It also claims to fit itself according to the texture of the skin, which is not true, because it gives a silky matte finish on normal skin and a dewy finish on oily skin which means it does not mattify oily skin completely. It clings to dry patches, so if you have a combination skin you need to moisturize the dry areas of your face before application. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation does oxidise a bit after a few hours.
The staying power is 3-4 hours after which the oils seeps through not too much but yes it does. The foundation does stay throughout the day but after 8 hours slight blotchiness is detected so its better to touch up after 5 hours. If you have oily skin then you can touch up with the fit me powder.
The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation is extremely lightweight and has a silicone like feel. It offers a medium coverage, covers redness but not scars and blurs the pores slightly which is great.
Shade selection can be a problem like in my case sun beige is dark for me and warm nude and natural buff also did not work that well. I will have to mix two foundations to get my perfect shade. Most of the shades have yellow undertones though, so they will cater to most Indian complexions.

If the shade and texture matches perfectly for you then this makes a great everyday foundation which is not heavy and does not look made up. It gives that ‘my skin but better‘ kinda finish so if you have a good skin without many flaws to hide then use this one for an even complexion, lightweight texture and natural finish. This is definitely one of the best affordable foundations for normal to oily skin, available in India.
P.S : I also picked up the Maybelline Fit Me concealer and blush from the range which I will be reviewing later.

I tried the compact and the concealer from this range. The shades were way too light for me. Really wish they introduce darker shades in India.
