Maybelline Colorshow Liner (Crayon Kohl) Shade 02 Light Peacock: Review & Swatches Of Shades -Noble Purple, Ocean Blue, Peacock Green, Shiny Beige!

I am a huge fan of eye pencils and own ‘n’ number of them but the sad part is that whenever I have to pick up a pencil, it becomes very difficult ….it’s like selecting a shade from the Asian paints shade card …all look the same …..You know what I mean…..it’s like blue, a little more blue , slightly less blue and so on . Same goes with Brown’s and blacks and Grey’s and greens.
After (Vivid smooth Liner review here) eye pencils Maybelline launched the color show crayon khol (what ya maybelline lemme finish the previous ones …not fair ) but who could stop me from buying these pretty pencils, not even my own heart.
What maybelline says: High intensity now in a liner! Brighter and bolder
colours in an eye liner.

Why will it work?
Bold Color pigments create high color impact. High crystalline wax keeps the colors from fading and keeps the liner smudge-proof and long lasting.

My Experience With Maybelline Colorshow Liner 02 Light Peacock

These eye pencils come in a sleek black retractable tubes like most of the eye pencils, the plus point is that the cap is of the same color as the pencil which makes it Easy to locate the shade if you have more than one in your bag.

The texture is not very creamy and smooth. Tugging and pulling of skin is experienced when it’s applied. I will not say that it is very dry but not as smooth as ( Maybelline Colossal review here) or ( Maybelline Eyestudio Vivid review here ). It’s a little difficult to work with these.
Light peacock is a pretty sea green color with golden sheen. It will look amazing on people with hazel colored eyes. However looks good on Brown eyed fair skinned beauties as well. I am not happy with the pigmentation; the color shows up after 4-5 strokes. It’s absolutely smudge proof and water proof. It stays for good 7 hours on upper lash line without a primer and 5 hours on lower lash line without budging, after that it starts fading.

6)    The tip does not break like most of the creamy liners.

1)    It’s poorly pigmented.

2)    It has non creamy texture.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Lack of pigmentation stops me from buying any another shade but you can try if you like the colors.
