Well well , Maybelline Baby Lips need no introduction or reviews, it’s every girls favourite and most trusted lip balm.
Maybelline has been thoughtful enough to add 3 new shades to their collection, called the Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up: keeping indian skin tones in mind. Most of the shades that you find in baby lips are very very lightly pigmented which either don’t show, or wash out indian skin tone.
The electro pops range had two pigmented shades out of which pink shock was the most pigmented.
To add little more colors to our lips, maybelline has introduced deeper shades in their collection which are leaning towards deep pinks, berry and browns.

My Experience With Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up :
Maybelline baby lips had a different packaging for electro pops, for the spiced up range they chose to go back to the previous packaging with the tube having the same colour of the balm inside. This does not excite me but no complains either.
The formula is the same as our trusted baby lips but they make a 12 hour claim which is way too much because my lips feel hydrated and moisturized for about 4 to 5 hours max after which I have to reapply the lip balm.
The formula is smooth and buttery but non sticky and light weight at the same time.It moisturises and repairs dry lips and comes in 3 shades to choose from.
The translucent colour is quite visible and gives a beautiful flush to the lips. It actually looks like sheer lipsticks and is a great option when you are in a no makeup mood or if you are in school or college where you don’t want to use makeup but wouldn’t mind a little colour on the lips. The tint lasts for a good 3 hour time which is great for a lip balm.
The color is more visible on pink lips or lightly pigmented lips that too with multiple swipes, but with shades so pretty and formula so light, I don’t mind doing that either. Tropical punch is a deep pink shade which looks plain gorgeous on the lips and Berry Sherbet as the name suggests, is a deep berry shade. These two shades don’t have too much of a difference, you can notice that even from the swatches. When applied on the lips there is a bit of a difference but again, not too much. On mild pigmented lips, it will give a nice deep pink shade and both the shades will look just the same….absolutely no difference.
There is another shade called Spicy Cinnamon which is a brown shade and looks great on Indian skin tones.

” INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”
I am loving all the three shades from Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up, they flatter Indian Skin tone and are perfect for that everyday no makeup look. The face looks really fresh and bright after using these tinted lip balms and I prefer them over the colourless ones. I wish they had spiced up the packaging as well…never mind, these are the best lip balms in India and totally worth the hype!!!!!

I have Berry Sherbet and Spicy Cinnamon. I feel these are quite sheer whereas Electro Pops were pretty pigmented.

berry pink was the most pigmented in electro pops…and these I feel are equally pigmented plus I prefer these shades
Even I am liking these new shades.
I don’t understand why they false claim the 12 hr thingy. Its a good product so this false advertisement is so gonna kill it!
ya…we love them already…dont need 12 hours actually
Really wanna try them out, the spicy cinnamon shade looks so diffrent.

Both the colours are almost the same
BERRY SHERBET is the best for all indian skin complexions. It gives you a perfect red-pink coctail shade, which looks simply gorgeous on your lips. Spicy cinnamon is more towards biscuit. And tropical punch is dark pink. I recommend Berry sherbet. It is a yummy-lucious berry Red!
I agree…its my fav amongst the three….but on pigmented lips berry and tropical might end up looking the same
i got pink punch today, definitely the color is good, however its drying my lips to fast! color is great, but its drying my lips within an hour! Is there anyone going through the same thing? (quite irritating! ) smh.. !
My complexion is dark which one would suit my face colour?
Both will look good because they just add a hint of color to the lips
