It’s been a long time I haven’t had any interaction with you all, well I am back with a new launch by MAC cosmetics. No harm contributing to a cause where every cent of the selling price goes towards helping people living with HIV/AIDS. I am talking about the new  viva glam lipstick collaboration with the famous pop star Miley Cyrus-Mac viva glam “Miley Cyrus”. They have a Lipglass as well but I picked only the lipstick from this collection,here is my take on Mac viva glam “Miley Cyrus” lipstick.

My Experience With Mac Viva Glam “Miley Cyrus” Lipstick:

Mac describes Viva Glam Miley Cyrus as “hot pink” with amplified finish. It is a bold and bright fuchsia pink and has a blue undertone to it. It has a neon touch when layered 2-3 times. The bullet itself looks very bright-neonish; MAC’s pink lipsticks are definitely hot sellers‼ It comes in the regular MAC’s viva glam lipsticks packaging, I wish MAC had done something different with the packaging like last year’s Viva Glam Rihanna.

The pigmentation is bang on,it gives opaque coverage in single pass, however I have noticed the actual richest of the color shows up when layered 2-3 times. Just like Miley Cyrus, the shade is very beautiful and brilliant. The texture of these lipsticks is creamy and light weight but has slight slip to it. The smooth and creamy texture glides on lips like butter and provide slightly more hydration than those regular amplified lipsticks. The consistency is better than Amplified lipsticks, the formula is thin and more on the creamier side but manage not to bleed or budge around the edges. It stays put more than 6 hours and has extra glossy sheen to it.

-The creamy smooth texture, glides on lips easily and has extra sheen than other amplified MAC lipsticks.

-Hydrating and light weight formula, applies smoothly without any budging.

-Has Vanilla Scent to it.

-Stays up to hour’s plus before starts fading evenly and leave a strong pinkish stain on lips.

Turn Off: Mac Viva Glam “Miley Cyrus” Lipstick

-I wanted to see a different packaging this time

-Does transfer a bit because of the emollient consistency.

-Quite dupable – however once I layered it on 2-3 times, the shade looks more vibrant and neon – not something I have in my lipstick collection.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”

This shade is definitely a hot seller and every single peice got sold out in a day. I remember how I used to watch Hannah Montana Tv show, certainly not a big fan of her wrecking ball act and her tongue 😛 but whatever, I loved the shade and would definitely help to raise funds for a good cause.
