Mac Heirloom Mix Lipstick No Faux Pas Review & Swatches

Here am back with another latest collection from Mac, yes Mac keeps launching collection after collection and it is so quick that it is really hard to remember the name of the collections 😛 .

It was just few day’s back that they launched the Matte lip collection and after that in a month or so they launch another one i.e.  “HEIRLOOM Mix” collection.

And it is very obvious that I will grab a lipstick from it as I just loveeee Mac lipsticksss.

Okay before I start here is a little Info about the “HEIRLOOM Mix” collection from Mac

My Experience With Mac “HEIRLOOM Mix” collection No faux Pas

Okay, so the Heirloom Mix collection includes five lipsticks and all are in limited edition packaging.  Among the five, only three are original shades – one is a re-promote and the other is in the permanent collection.

The lipsticks are:-

No Faux Pas – hot pink (Matte) LE
Sparks of Romance – true red (Matte Frost) LE
Salon Rouge – clean berry red (Matte) LE
Tribalist – deep purple berry (Amplified) Repromote
Rebel – pink plum (Satin) Permanent

Packaging:-

Definitely limited edition means it would be beautiful if it comes in different package and yes it is…Mac heirloom Mix collection comes in a beautiful packaging. The black glossy case with silver glitters added a beautiful look. The glitters and the sparkles are so festive kind!

Shade & texture:-

The lipstick No faux pas is a beautiful hot pink lipstick which will suit everyone in its own way. Yes, it will suit fair to dusky in its own way. The lipstick is matte in texture and it is limited edition. Although, it is matte but it glides smoothly on lips and it turns into matte immediately after few minutes.

Rumors are that Mac lipstick name“Good Kisser” is re-promoted by Mac in the name “No faux Pas” and so clearing all the doubts I say here yes it is quite similar in color but the intensity of pink is more in Good Kisser than in No faux pas. Although Mac claims it is hot pink shade but I found slightly Barbie pink on my lips. 🙂

Staying Power :-

Staying power is more than 5 hours and it survives meal but does fade out a bit. The lipstick does leave a light stain on my lips which I just love but I don’t mind to re-apply it after my meal. The vanilla scent is another add-on that I just love about Mac lipsticks. Nicely pigmented and two swipes are enough to get the actual shade. The lipstick glides smoothly on lips and it never dries out horribly like the retro matte lipsticks.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”– Well, I love pink lipsticks no matter how many I have so I will definitely recommended this kind of shade not the lipstick as it is limited edition.
