Have you girls tried the newly launched -Nude Lumi Magic Foundation from L’Oreal?? Please share your thoughts. L’Oreal definitely is one of my favorite drugstore brands, although I haven’t used much of their lipsticks and other items but this Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara from L’Oreal is one of my current favorite mascara.

 My Experience With L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara

I have been using this mascara for quite a long time now, the shade I got is #Brown Black, my friend who was returning back from USA brought me this. I have heard a lot about this mascara from many of my friends and blogger friends. It got nice reviews and surprisingly it does what it claims. The Packaging is appealing to eyes and it lengthens well and separates my lashes individually. I love this mascara because of the formula and the consistency is medium to thick, not liquidy. People say that the wand looks quite similar to “Benefits-they are real mascara” although I haven’t used benefit’s mascara so can’t compare.

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara is very buildable; it makes my lashes full and defined. I have never used any lash curlers so far (I wish to use it one day) but the way it defines and lengthens each lashes is impressive. I am using this mascara everyday and every time it impresses me. It’s not too heavy on lashes, no matter how many times you layer it on, it doesn’t clump my lashes. The build in clean sweep wand has multiple spiky bristles which capture each lash from root to tip giving lash by lash definition.

It applies smooth and evenly and start building up natural volume from the very first coat. I hate that mascara which clumps and makes lashes stick together.

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara has wet formula and that makes it easier to apply. It dries up within a minute and stays on for almost all day. Unless you remove it with a heavy duty makeup remover.

It’s not flakey and doesn’t weigh down my lashes at all; it holds up the curls pretty well almost for the whole day, I have problems with other mascara which doesn’t holds up curls too long. But L’Oreal as claims it too – “adds curls and drama” lasting whole day.Voluminous Million Lashes adds great volume without getting clumpy even after two coats. The collagen infused buildable formula curls up each lashes, defines them and gives lengths and volume.

L’Oreal Claims it is Fragrance-free. Ophthalmologist-tested and allergy-tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers- However it has a weird chemically smell to it which disappears within a minute. I have sensitive eyes and it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. Whereas for contact lens wearers I can’t comment as I don’t wear one.  Yes, it is not waterproof but water-resistant therefore a heavy duty makeup remover is important. There is nothing bad about this mascara but it flakes a bit only when I keep on layering.

2)   I love the wand- it has multiple spiky bristles that help separate, define, lengthen, curl and add volume without clumping.

3)   Has semi-wet formula which is not watery. It doesn’t smear at all.

4)   It holds the curls the whole day long.

5)   “L’Oreal Million” mascara has collagen infused buildable formula.

6)   Lasts whole day long unless you remove it with a good makeup remover.

7)   Volume and length is quite buildable.

8)   Applies smoothly lash by lash.

9)   Doesn’t clump even after 2-3 layers.

10) Ophthalmologist-tested and allergy-tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

11) Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Smudge free formula. Water resistant but removes easily.

12) A Value for money! – What else can I ask for?

1)   It flakes if layered too much.

2)   Has weird smell to it.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- I love this mascara, it does what it claims. If you are looking for good drugstore mascara then this is the one you should pick. I am giving a very strong positive opinion based on my own experiences. Clump free mascara which lengthens, separates, defines and adds volume from root to tip is what I need. It is absolutely a HIT for me considering the price and the quality. I am definitely going to repurchase it in shade- “blackest black” now. 🙂
