L’Oreal Paris Super Liner 24H – Waterproof Gel: Review and Swatches

Okay…here’s a gel liner review for all the eye makeup enthusiasts and newbies. Liquid liners, pencil liners, felt tips pheewwwwww!!!!!The list is endless when you talk about liners but when it comes to a perfect winged look, all that comes to the mind is a gel liner. It is a must have in every girls kitty. I have previously tried the Maybelline gel liner so this time I laid my hands on the L’Oreal one…read on to check the scoreboard.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH LOREAL PARIS SUPER LINER 24H- WATERPROOF GEL

This liner comes in a thick glass jar with a classy golden lid.Along with the liner comes a brush for application which is not an angled brush but does an excellent job. It is soft and capable enough to draw beautiful strokes easily. It also picks up a good amount of product so you can apply the liner in one go.

Now coming to the gel, I must say that it is very well formulated as it glides smoothly without tugging or pulling the skin. It is thick and intense black, very highly pigmented and gives an opaque finish in one go. It’s not glossy or glittery and gives a beautiful matte finish. It dries up quickly making the application hassle free and non messy. It is totally smudge proof, budge proof and waterproof. Stays on for a very long time (for 17 hrs. ) and does not fade at all. After that I noticed fading and flaking but I really don’t mind that. I mean come on who would want it for 24 hrs ??? Not me …naa!!!!! The best part is that it is ophthalmology tested and does not irritate the eyes. It is even safe for waterline and lens wearers (I wear lenses ) however stays for a lesser time on the waterline.It doesn’t dry out quickly unlike other gel liners,it has been with me for 6 months now but is still fresh.
