The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner pencils were introduced along with the Mega glosses for the Cannes 2016 in their Infallible range. These coloured pencils are available in 8 shades and I am reviewing the 4 that I have with me. I am all about that black Kohl on most of the days but coloured, or sparkly liner is the easiest and quickest formula to add that little bit of edge to your eye makeup which lists them as a must-have in every girl’s makeup kit.

My Experience With The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner
The formula is extremely smooth & it glides easily on the lid without a tug or a pull. Because they are so soft and buttery, they crumple and break with pressure so you have to be careful and use them with a light hand.
They are superbly pigmented and one stroke is all you need for an intense color(for most of the shades). These eyeliners set within seconds and then there is no looking back….they refuse to leave their place for the entire day…no budging, not for 16 hours, but 9 hours for sure, after this time period you can see them fading.
The only downside will be that they do not come in a twist up packaging, and you need a sharpener after every second application. For people like me, it becomes difficult to hunt for a sharpener at the last moment but the quality and the price will make you ignore this lil drawback.
Colours :
Plum, Pure Purple, Silver & Gold (Also available in True Teal, Black, Charcoal & Cobalt Blue). Gold & Silver are metallic and superbly pigmented. Plum & Pure Purple are true mattes without any glitter or sheen to them. These two are slightly less pigmented and need 2 strokes for an intense color but they glide smoothly on the waterline which is a rare quality in colored liner pencils.

The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliners are affordable without any compromise in quality. My personal favourite is Plum which looks even more gorgeous when smudged, but you have to be nimble because it gives you only a few seconds for smudging before it sets. True Teal and Charcoal are on my list now.
