Whenever i see an attractive product with cute packaging i am always tempted to buy it.

And so I ended up buying the Lakme nine to five cream compact. It looked cute, attractive and beautiful!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH LAKME NINE TO FIVE CREAM COMPACT

I brought home the shade name marble with which i was happy. I never ever thought that this product can work as a foundation as well; it was only the SA at the counter who advised me to do so. But since the product said it’s a compact i started using it on my liquid foundation. It did set okay no doubt about it but maybe it’s the wrong shade of the product that made me look like a ghost in daytime. it’s like i have applied tones of talcum powder on face. Therefore i realized that it cannot be used during days.

Then again I started using it for evening and night parties, it was only during this time that this compact helped me a little.

For night time parties i apply it on my face, though it doesn’t give the desired result but still i found a way to at least use the product and not just throw it away!

Yes it gives a slight glow to my face and helped to give the matt effect but its NINE-TO-FIVE claim is wrong. It stays on face for maybe two hours and after that i need to re-apply it again! It is a crème compact but i cannot understand why it looks like talc when applied on skin!!!

TURN ON: LAKME NINE TO FIVE CREAM COMPACT

1) The sponge is nice and of very good quality.

2) Separate compartments for the compact and the sponge which makes it look attractive.

3) Its small and travel friendly.

4) Available in four shades (thank god it’s not one, but still u’ll need to use a lot of head to know which shade would work best for u!! lol)

5) In built mirror (i am still thinking hard to jot down the positive points here)

TURN OFF: LAKME NINE TO FIVE CREAM COMPACT

1) Nine to five claim is wrong! It doesn’t even stay for more than two hours.

2) I am confused what it actually is a foundation or a compact? Whatever, it gives me a caked face if I apply it with wet sponge and talc effect if i use it as a compact 🙁
