Lakme Eye Color Quartet Tanjore Rush: Review

Hello Guys…!!!Talking about wedding season and not talking about eye shadows……naaaah, that’s not fair…!!! Some of us go all wild and creative and play with a lot of colors and try to keep every possible color in the vanity whereas the others want to keep it simple so this Quartet is for the second category because it has 4 beautiful and versatile shade and you will surely get a color for every possible occasion. So let’s check out the colors and swatches.

I will not say that this pellet is complete in itself because to create a complete look you will need a highlighter as well. And the purple shade does not go with others shades, but if you are a beginner or don’t like to play with too many colors on the eyes and like doing a look with a single color, then this will be a great option for you.

COLORS AVAILABLE:

Coming to the colors this Quad has 4 beautiful colors

• Purple which is a soft matte shade without any shimmers
• Olive green – this has shimmers
• Bronze-again has shimmers and is a very pretty shade
• Gold- a beautiful yellow gold shade

MY EXPERIENCE WITH LAKME EYE COLOR QUARTET:

These are very well pigmented. All the three shades except purple give a beautiful color in a single swipe but for purple shade you have to build up the color with 3-4 swipes. An applicator also comes along with this Quad but it’s pretty useless as it’s uncomfortable as well as unhygienic. These shadows stay on the lids for a good 4 hour period without creasing or fading. There is a slight fallout which is not bothersome.

INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER: a very good palette for beginners. If you like shimmery eye shadows then this Quartet is a good option. I will definitely buy this again (which reminds me that I have to buy because mine has crossed the best before date.)
