The moment you hear this sentence you would want to jump off your seats and grab the product asap. I am no different so I went searching for this cute bottle …my bad….it wasn’t in stalk yet, so I had to anxiously wait for this product .

MY EXPECTATIONS WITH LAKME GET STYLIST TOMATO TANGO:

According to the promises made by Lakme and keeping gel manicures and the price of this nail paint in mind I thought the product would be

–       Glossy

–       Highly pigmented

–       Long lasting (gel manicures last for around 3 weeks)

–       Thick cushiony gel like texture

MY EXPERIENCE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH LAKME GET STYLIST TOMATO TANGO:

Finally I got my hands on the product. I wanted to buy coral rush but it wasn’t available; I could not wait any more so bought a beautiful orange based red color.  Tomato Tango!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn’t wait to go home and try it out so applied on the way itself. These nail stylists come in a cute big bottle with a large flat applicator which gives a non streaky finish in a single application. These nail paints are slightly thicker than other nail polishes but not as thick as I had expected. A single coat gives a beautiful glossy, opaque finish which dries in a minute or so. Single coat was so beautiful that I thought I would not require a second coat but unfortunately it started chipping the very next day. I was disappointed but thought of giving it another chance and applied two coats of it. So now I get pretty, glossy gel nails which stayed on my nails without chipping and I was happy….

Third day the gloss faded and by the end of the day the tips started wearing off. (So sad)

Though the nail paint stayed for 10 days but what is the point wearing nail paint for so many days if the tips have chipped off.

TURN ON: LAKME GET STYLIST TOMATO TANGO

1)    Its glossy finish and I like that!

2)    It’s very opaque.

3)    The first coat dries quickly. (second coat takes some time though)

4)    I must say that it definitely lasts longer than usual nail paints (provided u treat it with a top coat )

TURN OFF: LAKME GET STYLIST TOMATO TANGO

1)    Looks dull after 3 days.

2)    Chips easily.

3)    ITS Expensive

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- Considering the price and the marketing done I had honestly expected more out of this bottle. This one seems no different than any other nail paint in this price range. The formulation is better than other nail paints that Lakme has but GEL MANICURE? they are not even close.
