Fit-and-Flare : Outfit Of The Day & Announcement

Today’s outfit is about flared skirts….yes we have all seen our fashionistas rock these skirts so how could we miss this trend.

Flared skirts look very stylish, especially when they are paired correctly and carried off confidently because that’s one factor which can make or break the look completely. Short flared skirts are easier to pair because they can look casual or dressy, feminine or tomboyish according to the top you choose to wear, however the ones that have length to them, are a little tricky to wear. They veer on the feminine side of the style meter, and have a lot of volume to them so I feel it’s safe to wear them with well fitted crop tops, tucked in tops or shirts with broad belts etc.There are a  lot of combinations actually but I feel the options mentioned above work the best…….however I have seen people rocking long flared skirts with boots and sweat shirts, so if you find it easy then there is no harm wearing volume on top of volume, provided you have the right kind of frame for this choice.

I have tried to create a sophisticated look by pairing this vintage black skirt with a black lacy off-shouldered top which makes for a flattering combination. This whole Fit-and-Flare duo defines the waist neatly. This all-black-look is feminine and flirty.

For the heels I chose to go for black again, but you can also give a super stylish twist to this monochrome outfit by wearing neon or bright heels with it.

Fashion has no rules, where you can easily carry a box clutch or an envelope bag with this outfit……I preferred a black studded tote!!! For the accessories part I wore simple golden earrings along with a beautiful collar neck piece to make a statement which lead to flattering results.
