The Festive High : October Fab Bag

Hey Everyone,

This month’s Fab Bag is a plain Golden clutch which is spacious but not very good-looking or maybe I had high hopes because last year’s Festive Bag was quite unique and super pretty.

Geri G. Lip Gloss Creme – Sweetness (Full Size: Rs. 1000/-)

This product is chosen by me, I was really impressed by the Geri G. Foundation that I got in my August Fab Bag so I thought of trying out their glosses as well. It’s a creamy moisturising lip gloss, the shade is not for me though and it will not suit most complexions in my opinion because it’s a pale milky pink shade which looks weird after application. I should have opted for the nude shade 🙁 .

Votre Lip Gel Scrub (Full Size: Rs.300/-)

Got a tiny tub in my bag and I quite like it. Lip scrubs are great for removing dry flaky bits from the lips in a gentle and effective way. I have used the forest essentials scrub before and quite liked it but this one is a much more affordable option and equally effective.

Kaya Brightening Serum (Rs 1490/- for 30ml)

This tiny bottle of a brightening serum is totally useless to know whether the product is working or not but I did end up using it all and felt that the texture is very light and totally disappears into the skin. I feel it’s a good option for oily skin types.

Vedaearth Cleansing Facial Oil (Full Size: Rs350/-)

I love love love this one…. the colour, the tiny bottle (deluxe sample), and the product itself. This cleansing oil melts the makeup quite easily, the instructions on the pack say they it’s a deep cleansing oil which has to be applied twice daily and not to be rinsed, however, I have used it as a makeup remover and works efficiently. This bottle is perfect to keep in your travel makeup bag and the full-size version is quite affordable.

Stay Quirky Nail Polish – 03 (Rs.165/- for 6ml)

This is a full sized nail polish in a neon pink (but understated) shade. I have never heard of this brand before, I think I saw it in one of the My Envy Box or MSM Box, not sure though but I like the colour and the finish of this one.

So this month’s Fab Bag wasn’t a super deal for me because of the wrong shade of lip gloss, the onus of which is totally on me. Apart from that, I like the fact that I got to try the lip scrub and the cleansing oil. Also, the shade of the nail paint is gorgeous. If you like what you see then book yours @Fab Bag.
