My Experience With The Face Shop The Solution Radiance Face Mask
I was excited as hell to try the Face Shop Sheet masks since they were all over the internet. I have used and loved Sheet masks in the past when these were not even a rage and the only sheet masks you could buy were from Sephora but these were less than 1/5th the price of those, now who wouldn’t try them.
Well, the only bummer with sheet masks is that they work on the one size fits all concept but we all know that one size cannot fit all and the same happened with me, The Face Shop Sheet Mask did not fit my face perfectly, leaving air pockets near the eyes and nose area, this made the serum dry completely within 15 minutes which ideally should not happen in the case of sheet masks because they work on the technology of seeping the product into the skin and not evaporating it. But the sheet is extremely weightless which I like, a little adjustment does the job, I try to push the sheet towards the nose to seal it, although that results in a bare jawline, at least the serum does not dry that way.
After removing the sheet, I massage the remaining serum into my skin. It gets absorbed quickly but feels a bit heavy and sticky for around two hours and then disappears. It’s not uncomfortable kinda sticky though, just a clean towel over the pillowcase and you are good (because I always use sheet masks before hitting the bed). In the morning I wake up to soft, plump, hydrated and slightly brightened skin because it consists of Vitamin C. The effects are temporary and last only for a day so I recommend using it the night before a special event. I had 7 of these and I am done with 5 already, using the same variant of sheet mask in a row helps amplify the effect.
I wish the sheet was slightly bigger in size but the effect was satisfactory so I can ignore that and not regret buying a huge stock of sheet masks.
