FabIndia Charcoal Face Scrub Review & Swatch

I like the results delivered by Fabindia products and when I saw the charcoal face scrub at the counter…I was excited because charcoal scrubs and packs I’ve heard, render good results to the skin plus fabindia is not heavy on the pockets as well so you can always give them a try.

Shivi and I literally fight over purchasing products….so yes there was the charcoal face pack right there on the shelf but Shivi had won the race and grabbed it already …..She will be reviewing it for you gurlz soon!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH FABINDIA CHARCOAL FACE SCRUB:

This scrub comes in a plastic tub (why????) with black white and red paper labeling. It is a thick, deep charcoal coloured scrub with very small sized exfoliating particles in it. It smells strongly of lemongrass.

I used it on a moist face but since I felt that the exfoliating granules are miniscule, I went overboard with it and ended up having a red, monkey face 🙁 but actually the exfoliates in it are quite harsh so the trick is to use it gently. Now when I used it properly, it resulted in a clean glowing, fresh skin.
I have even found a better way of using it, I leave on the scrub on my face for 2-3 minutes so that the charcoal can work effectively and then I scrub off, this way the result is even better 🙂
