My Experience With The EOS Lip Balm In Sweet Mint

These lip balms come in an adorable and eye catching sphere shaped packaging. When you pop it out of your purse, its hard to ignore this pretty pastel coloured egg. Well, some might find it a little bulky, considering it cannot fit into your clutch bag or in the pocket of your skinny jeans but I find it good because its cute, easy to find in the bag and does not keep rolling off a dresser.

Now coming to the performance of the product let me tell you that I don’t have dry lips or to put it in other words I always keep them hydrated and moisturised and don’t let them feel dry or chapped. Cracked lips has never been my concern even in the harsh winter breeze (I am not talking about Mumbai, I have stayed in north India for more than two decades and still go there mostly in winter months)

I have used umpteen lip balms, Maybelliene baby lips are still the ones I reach out for when I want  a little tint on my lips, otherwise I don’t like greasy or tacky lip balms with glossy finish. EOS lip balm in sweet mint has impressed me a lot because just one swipe of it relieves my lips from all the dryness making them smooth and soft. My lips stay moisturised for a very long time and I hardly need a reapplication through the entire day. If the weather is very dry then I might reapply it just once after 6-7 hours which is great.

Another thing that I love about the EOS lip balm is, that it’s not greasy or glossy. It has a waxy texture which glides smoothly on the lips without making them feel heavy or sticky. This is a great product to be worn under matte lipsticks without changing their texture. When applied before sleeping, you wake up to soft, smooth and nourished lips.

The sweet mint flavour in particular smells of mint which is very refreshing and lasts for quite some time. When freshly applied, it gives a cool and minty, tingly feel to the lips for a few minutes, which I like because it feels very fresh.

The EOS aka Evolution of Smooth lip balm in sweet mint is the best lip balm I have used. They come in a rainbow assortment of flavors, have a cute shape and great texture and feel. I am not sure that they can work on extremely dehydrated or chapped lips but if you use them regularly they will keep your lips soft and smooth. Also I cannot comment weather all the flavours work in the same way because I haven’t used any other variant but since I am already done with this one, I’ll purchase other flavours now and put up an update here.

The sweet mint flavour is the one that sits under Miley’s bold bright lips!!!!
