Packing a diaper bag is easy but if you forget even a single item it will haunt you like anything…lol.
Here are the essentials that I carry around when out of house with my baby and in the city. On a road trip and moving out of the city will have more items.
1)Diapers: This is very obvious. I carry 4 diapers.
2) Diaper cream
3)Wet wipes: A must.
4)Changing pad: To change diapers a changing pad is required
5)Diaper disposable bags: You need sacks like these HERE . These are used for soiled diapers and have Odour stop technique so can be used at home as well to throw away diapers
6) Soft toys/rattles: It is important to entertain baby while on the go. While a 3 months old child will not need anything but right they are above 3, babies become active and need stuff to play.
7) Soft hankies and bibs
8) An extra outfit always with extra pair of socks
8) Nursing cover for mom
9) Hand sanitizer: I usually have it in every bag and so cannot forget to add another bottle in my baby’s diaper bag.
10) Water bottle tucked at the side of diaper bag for myself.
11) carry my son’s nasal spray as well.
The above items are for a new born. I do not carry a lot of stuff around when in Bangalore. Of Course, this bag will have more items if we re going on road trip.
If on a road trip, snacks and medicines will be added surely.
