Lip gloss was my first love as it gave my lips the required color and luster that I always wished for. But then came in vogue the heavy glosses with high coverage and with the opaqueness came the heavy feel on the lips. But when I tried the Colorbar’s pout Gloss, it’s texture bowled me over.

My Experience With Colorbar perfect put gloss brilliant a levres 008 scandal

Available in many different shades, I brought home the shade 008 scandal from the colorbar’s bestseller perfect pout gloss.

Packaging: It comes in a thick transparent glass tube. Few silver shimmer particles are visible through the tube which looks very pretty. In the tube the color looks dark pink. The tip applicator is soft and covers the lip nicely as its long enough. I like how it feels in my hands! So gorgeous and glam!

Texture: The semi-sheer gloss is of thin and somewhat runny consistency. It doesn’t bleed but without a lip liner it is difficult to work with. It’s a non sticky and very light on the lips. On lips it’s not heavy at all but for some reasons I touched my lips and my fingers got a sticky-feeling. But the wear was very comfortable!

Shade: The shade 008 scandal looked Red when swatched however it sets as a dark pink color on lips. The shimmer particles in it don’t bother as they are very rare. Though the presence of shimmer particles is less still it does shine when under sunlight. It looks gorgeous during the night! During the day too you need to be like really close to someone’s lips to see the particles.(lol) so here is the bonus. The gloss provides the shine and still the particles not visible leaving the viewer doing the guessing work and finding out the reason for that shine 😛

Staying power: Like any other gloss it’s highly transferable. If you can resist yourself from eating, drinking and talking it can stay for up to 2.5-3 hours! Other than that you would need to reapply. It didn’t leave any stain as well. I rubbed it with wet cotton and it got washed off easily.

1)    It’s Dermatologically tested.

2)    It’s moisturizing.

3)    Lovely shade and huge shades selection.

4)    Very light on lips and the wear is very comfortable.

5)    Didn’t dry out my lips!

6)    Yes if applied correctly with a liner plumping effect can be achieved. ( just to a lil extent)

7)    It gives nice hydrated juicy look to the lips!

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- The cost didn’t do justice with the way the gloss worked on my lips. Thought the shade is pretty and the wear is comfortable I think it’s quite an expensive buy! But the best thing is it didn’t promise us the moon & all the points mentioned were delivered!
