Colorbar Full Cover Concealer hiding skin blemishes, dark circles

Concealers are particularly used to hide any imperfection on skin and body. Today reviewing “Colorbar Full Cover Concealer hiding skin blemishes, dark circles and other imperfections”. I apply my concealer after I had done toning and moisturizing. This way it sets the perfect base for my foundation. I have seen a lot of you tube gurus applying their concealers after foundation so I guess if you are comfortable with that do it!

Tapping the concealer from the outside to the inside I dab and not rub it in skin. I use a yellow tone concealer to cover up dark circles. I also apply it around the mouth and chin as they are a little uneven spots on my face. I either use a concealer brush or most of the time use my fingertips and blend well in patting motion.

I was looking for a concealer for my dark eyelids. The SA at the colorbar counter told me that I should go two shades darker than the natural skin tone to get even skin tone on my eye lids! I was unsure as I read that one shade lighter than your natural skin colour is used on dark circles but since she was in full confidence I blindly followed her and brought home the Colorbar concealer in shade “NUDE BEIGE 006”.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH COLORBAR FULL COVER CONCEALER

The colorbar full cover concealer is packed in a cute little plastic pot with a silver cap. It smells mildly and is of creamy consistency. It looks heavy and the first touch of it scared me but thankfully its light and it got absorbed into the skin quickly. The added bonus for my oily skin is that it is oil-free and doesn’t clog pores.

My main purpose for this buy was particularly to hide under eye circles. Actually only the lids are darker and I have no dark circles as such. As I applied it on my lid I saw that it blended nicely and the dark lid colour was reduced a little. It looked a little ashy though in the pictures, maybe because the wrong shade 🙁  ( i am not sure).

It stayed on me for 4 hours. It didn’t flake or set in lines on my lids. As it is I moisturised my skin well so the chances to accentuate fine line were slim and I am sure with an eye primer this will work best!

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER:- I am happy with it. It’s creamy, yellow toned and covers the darkness on the lids quite well. Maybe I need to try other shades to gain maximum benefits.
