I am in love with bold matte lip colors so these cute crayons from Chambor made for an excellent choice. No matter how many Reds I own…that perfect, sexy seductive Red is always on my list hence I bought this pretty Red from the array of 8 shades available.

My Experience With Chambor Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Color

This lip color comes in a simple crayon like packaging with the color of the stick indicating the shade of the lip color (hmmm easy to locate) with a transparent cap. To be honest the packaging looks cheap somehow and the stick is non retractable, it has to be sharpened which is a downer for me because I am never able to locate my sharpener at the right time 🙁

Coming to the good part the color is simply to die for. It’s a beautiful red color which is very subtle and not OTT. It brightens up the face instantly and will suit all skin tones. It has very fine specks of shimmer which are barely visible and not gritty at all.

The texture is very smooth and creamy. It glides smoothly without tugging or pulling and is super pigmented. One swipe is good enough to cover pigmentation. It does not have any fragrance or flavor. Like any other matte lipstick it accentuates fine lines as it dries after some time….to combat this you have to prep your lips prior to application and if you still find it drying or uncomfortable, you can top it up with a lip balm (however I don’t face this issue ).

The color is no doubt long lasting and stays on for a good 7 hours and then starts fading. It’s pretty much there until you remove it with a makeup remover! It’s non transferable!
