MY EXPERIENCE WITH BOURJOIS PARIS SHINE EDITION LIPSTICK SHINE 21

This lipstick comes in a beautiful case which is reflective mirror like ( great for touch ups) with a plastic base to locate the color easily ( thank god) . Overall the packaging looks impressive.

I somehow don’t feel comfortable in bold red lip look so I was always in search for a red lipstick which was red but not very red (hope that makes sense) I mean it should not be over the top and rouge in the making  lipstick was exactly that. It’s a very pretty orange based red which will flatter almost all skin tones. Its pigmented but not opaque. It’s sheer but packed with the right amount of color to cover pigmented lips. The color is not to bright so it does not attract unnecessary attention and is quite wearable.
The texture is meant to fall in love with. It’s very very smooth and moisturising. Its gel like formula literally glides on the lips.
It is a perfect combination of lip balm, lip color and gloss. You will not need a lip balm separately however 10 hours is too much to say.

SWATCHES ON MY LIPS 

The watery shine that it gives to the pout is to die for. The color stays put for easily about 4 to 4.5 hours. After mild snacking it leaves a slight orangey tint for another hour. It looses its shine after an hour and slightly settles in fine lines after about 2 hours which is not very bothersome or even noticeable. It does not bleed, does not feel heavy at all.
