Like every other woman, I perpetually think that I don’t have enough clothes while my husband thinks vice-versa lol. Nevertheless, nothing stops me from adding new clothes to my wardrobe, especially when I’m in China and shopping is dirt cheap.

There’s no doubt about my love for RED & Black, but yes these days Blue has taken over my obsession for black. And keeping that in mind I picked up this cute blue dress of the rack at my shopping spree at the Beijing Zoo Market (Beijing Zoo Market). Since its so freezing cold here I have been desperately waiting to wear it, but summers really seem too far and I decided to consider it for my Anniversary Trip to Shanghai with my husband. You know the excitement rush about wearing a new dress and trust me I couldn’t hold it long for summers. Hence, this dress made it to Shanghai with me and I was super excited to wear it for my dinner date.

Shanghai is a beautiful city, but being winters it was freezing cold and yes it was raining nonstop. Shanghai rains reminded me of Mumbai monsoons, but yeah rain couldn’t discourage me from exploring the amazing city and enjoy it’s crazy night life. So my husband had planned this dinner on the 32nd Floor of the The Hyatt which gives a 270 degree panoramic view of the iconic and beautiful Bund area of Shanghai and yes it made a very scenic background for our dinner date.

And what made it more perfect was my cute Blue dress which added the perfect oomph and glamour to the evening. Enjoy the pictures ladies 🙂

Since the weather was too cold I had to pair the dress with leggings and of course I had to use a coat while going outdoors.

That’s the scenic view of the “BUND” in it’s full glory at night. ( In the pic below)

Since it was a plain dress, I just used a neon colored necklace to add some color and zing to the dress. Its really easy to accessorize a plain solid dress, just ensure you don’t go over board with accessorizing. Keep it simple and subtle.

Because of  the freezing temperatures of China, I really don’t have much choice with footwear’s hence went ahead with my plain and simple UGGS, had it been summers I would have paired it some nice Silver Pumps/ Wedges. Or any multi-colored heels to keep it in sync with my multi-colored necklace.

OUTFIT BREAKDOWN

DRESS: Off the rack from Beijing Zoo Market for 50 Yuan (approximately Rs 500/-)

SHOES: UGGS (gifted by hubby on Christmas)

LEGGINGS: Bought from SILK MARKET for 60 Yuan (approximately Rs 600) These are thick leggings with fur and fleece linings.

So this Valentine’s look your best by keeping  it simple yet Stylish, don’t go for the cliched RED, try some new funky colors and add the oomph with your grace and attitude.

Style is all about carrying your look with comfort and attitude not just the clothes. Like I always say keep it stylish with your confidence and attitude.
