Blossom Kochchar Aroma Magic Turmeric Cleanser: Review & Swatches

Caution!!!!!!  This is meant only for normal and dry skin people ….if you have oily skin please stay as far as you can.

Today I will be reviewing a cleanser from Aroma Magic. I bought it because it-
1) looked different as it is in cream form rather than the usual lotions
2) was for normal skin
3) all natural ingredients
4) shhhhhh not very expensive

What aroma magic says: Aroma Magic Turmeric Cleanser is soap free
natural cleanser. It removes make-up, dirt & grime without drying the skin and helps to maintain skin’s oil-moisture balance & suppleness. Goodness of turmeric enhances the complexion and gives you naturally glowing skin.

FEATURES:  It’s a mild, purifying cream cleanser that removes surface contaminates and impurities. It rinses clean; leaving a barrier of precious moisture that prevents dehydration of the skin and infuses rare pure essential oils into the skin which is 100% soap free. Maintains moisture balance. A combination of pure essential oils, herbal extracts
that cleanses the face without dehydrating the skin, also effective for removal of eye makeup. A soap free natural cleanser, removes make-up, dirt & grime. Closes pores, helps skin to maintain its oil-moisture balance & suppleness.
How to use: Dampen skin, massage cleanser with little water onto face using circular strokes. Wipe off with wet cotton. Use morning & night.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH AROMA MAGIC TURMERIC CLEANSER:

This, cleanser comes in a white plastic tub with a red lid. It is simple and neat but cumbersome and unhygienic. Wish it came in a tube that ways it would have been easy to travel with it.
It is a white thick cream (I expected it to be yellow, because of turmeric…LOL) with a very mild fragrance.
While applying it feels like applying one of those creams that you use during facials, it’s that heavy and oily! It does not absorb into the skin. According to the instructions it has to be wiped with wet cotton but I somehow feel that this way some residue is left behind so after this step I rinse my face with water.
Talking about the results, it removes dirt and makeup effectively however it leaves a moisture barrier onto the skin due to which the face doesn’t feel clean rather it feels quite oily and sticky. It feels quite heavy.
About the glow, I didn’t notice any, and all it left was a shiny face.
I have normal skin still it did not suit me I feel it will be a great cleanser for dry skinned people.

TURN ON: AROMA MAGIC TURMERIC CLEANSER

1) Removes makeup and dirt effectively.

2)    Good option for dry skinned people.

3)   Not very expensive

4) it didn’t break me out

TURN OFF: AROMA MAGIC TURMERIC CLEANSER

1) Makes the skin greasy.

2) Unhygienic tub packaging.

3) Doesn’t give a clean fresh feel to the face.

4) I don’t like the thick creamy consistency.

“INFO ON A SILVER PLATTER”- it’s a good cleanser but only for people with dry skin. I will try using it in dry winter months.
