Biotique’s Bio Peach Clarifying & Refining Peel Off Mask: Review & Swatches

Hi girls ….today I will be talking about a total “DUD“from Biotoque. The bio peach peel off mask. My skin is normal however sometimes in this humid climate of Mumbai , it starts misbehaving and turns from normal to a tad oily and acne prone 🙁
For such times I was in search for a life savior, and brought home this peel off mask. It looked quite promising to me that day! Let’s see what it did to my face!!!!

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS: Biotique Bio Peaches and Plum Peel off Mask deep cleanses the skin and removes all the dead surface cells. It allows better penetration of active ingredients for maximum efficiency of the following treatment. This exfoliating mask is blended with extracts of peach, plum, cucumber, cabbage, neem and quince seed to deep cleanse skin and purify pores. Its peel off action lifts embedded impurities, refines skin texture and clears the way for lighter, brighter skin to surface,
clears the skin of dead cells. Peaches have been cultivated for thousands of years and is been cherished for their clarifying and curative benefits. The peaches and plum roll off also makes your skin cleanser and fresher with a new found

Direction for Use
1. Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck.
2. Avoid eye area.
3. Let it dry and then slowly peel off the dried
mask which appears like a transparent skin.
4. Rinse with water or damp washcloth to remove
last traces.
5. Use daily or as needed.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BIOTIQUE PEACH PEEL OFF MASK

This peel of mask has a runny consistency, it’s a raspberry pink colored gel which comes in a standard biotique green tub.
Application is a little messy as it is quite runny. You have to apply a thin film of the mask and let it dry. It dries in about 20 to 25 minutes (long time eh) and the peeling process is also irritating as it does not comes out in a single attempt.

Coming to the highlights….this mask has a very very  ( I could ad more of them ) strong pungent smell. It irritates my nose and throat also ( you have to believe me on this one I was coughing like crazy ) It took me back to my school days where this kind of smell was experienced in the chemistry lab! I wanted to get rid of it instantly but  being a product reviewer isn’t easy guys …I had to muster the courage to continue with it. It stinged and I even felt a slight burning sensation but I continued thinking maybe this is the way the product works. After peeling and washing I got another surprise!!!!! Voila my face had changed its colour, I looked like a tomato. I was all red and stayed that way for 20 hrs even after washing my face umpteen times!!!
I dreaded to use it two times again but after attaining similar results, I threw the tub away.

( P.S I even made my aunt and sister try this out but the results were same for them and worse for me as they cursed me for this one, the  only difference my aunt experienced was that her  face wasn’t red like mine )
