My experience with Maybelline’s FIT ME!® MATTE + PORELESS FOUNDATION in shade “310 SUN BEIGE
Is it the best drugstore foundation for normal, oily and combination skin? Well! I love it. It can be a little drying for dry skinned people but on my skin I just loved how it settled, and I have normal to combination skin type as of now. This foundation comes in a glass bottle which I have somehow managed not to drop and break. The foundation is very light but not watery, somewhere in between with perfect texture. The coverage is light to medium and is buildable and not to forget that the light texture ensures easy blend ability and smooth finish.
Does it reduce pores?
Yes, it minimizes it! Unless, you stand with a magnifying glass, you won’t be able to see pores after applying this nicely. I have very small pores and the foundation did pretty good job minimizing/blurring it. It stayed on me for 6 hours after which I washed my face. This was without a primer. With a primer I am sure it can stay throughout a 9-to-5 job time period. It is perfect for no makeup look or to say a better looking fresh face without being cakey at all! I am happy that it is good for summers as well. I finally say it is perfect drugstore matte foundation for my normal skin, oily skin and combination skin. (My skin type changes frequently)
TIP to use the foundation on oily skin: Girls if you find this foundation a little heavy on you at all, just take a small amount of it and blend it. Do not forget to set it with a matte face powder, by the way I have the fit me face powder as well which I will review soon. Rest skin type can use beauty blenders and foundation brushes to get flawless finish.

Now don’t be shocked when I say that the concealer is for Rs500. Yes, you read that right! But, I must say I have not used such good coverage concealer at this price point! I use 310 SUN BEIGE in concealer as well. It has medium to thick consistency again not very runny and has rich texture. I just use a very small amount and tap it on the blemishes. It does the job pretty well. And I just love the doe- foot applicator, it just feels so right!
On the under eye circle it blends well without any creasing. It stays for quite long as well. I tried it for only 6 hours with the foundation and without any primer. With primers the foundations and concealers do even better. I am not sure if it will cover very dark under eye circles as I, have very less intensity dark under eye area which gets covered easily with this concealer. Not sure with the 3 shades selection how much justice it will do to majority of women in India, but on me, it fared well. I am quite sure that a corrector needs to be used on very dark circles and then this would work better.
Info On A Silver Platter”- I can’t stop raving about both these products. I love the foundation and the concealer as well. For no-makeup, makeup look I reach out for the foundation and I keep the concealer for the days when I have to hide dark spots on my face. I must say that FIT me range actually fits well as it is budget friendly and easily available!
