Hi Everyone,

If liquid liners are not your thing then you gotta try the Sugar Eye Told You So! Smudgeproof eyeliner to change your belief. I used to loathe the idea of using liquid liners because of the mess they create and trying a winged or bold liner with a liquid consistency just before heading out somewhere, was a risk I dare not take with my forever shivering hands. In my case, I practiced a lot to change my mindset but I know a lot of girls who are super scared of liquid liners. If you are one amongst them then read on………

My Experience With The Sugar Eye Told You So ! Smudgeproof Eyeliner

The packaging is very simple and sleek. I really love the wand, it is exactly the size of a pen so it provides steadiness and comfort during application. The applicator is quite unique, it’s a felt tip with  a flexible end, so it’s not very stiff but not too flexible either. This feature makes eyeliner application super easy and convenient. You can create the thinnest to the thickest line without any hassle. The applicator picks up the perfect amount of product so you don’t have to dip it multiple times to dig out the liner.

The texture is thin but does not smear, it dries into a jet black, semi-matte finish in just one stroke. The eyeliner is fade-proof and smudgeproof. Stays strong for 6 hours, after that I see it peeling from the inner and outer corners. The liner will not flake or peel otherwise but if you rub your eyelids after say 4 hours, it will peel off completely, esp if you have oily lids. So the 24-hour claim does not hold true here.

The description says it comes off with warm water, so no makeup remover is required but I noticed it  peeling off with cold water in a jiffy. Now this has it’s pros and cons both. Con would be that it’s not waterproof and long lasting, pro is that it can be really easy for those who do liners on a regular basis and have sensitive eyes, so you don’t need an extra product to clean your eyeliner. Also while creating equal wings, this can be easy and non-messy. Just dip a q-tip in water to erase any mistakes and create clean, sharp wings.

“Info On A Silver Platter”

I don’t like waterproof makeup on a daily basis because it becomes difficult to clean, especially when I am heading out just for a couple of hours. This makes up for a great option because of the intense black color, ergonomically designed applicator and super easy removal process that does not require an extra product.
